Hotel Ristorante La Conchiglia

The room was beautiful with a lovely balcony and jacuzzi. The view was amazing. The bed was comfortable and the wifi was good. The parking was anywhere you could find on a nearby street and it was not too hard to find. You could have chosen paid parking for 5 Euros a night. The breakfast was very tasty and there was plenty of choice. The on-site restaurant provided a perfectly nice dinner for a reasonable price, though not outstanding. The location was perfect within easy walking distance of everything.

Our experience was somewhat spoiled by a very bad smell in the bathroom. The bathroom was new and clean and the gentleman at reception claimed the smell was blown in when the window was open, but the smell wasn’t in the main room and seemed to be related to the plumbing. It was possible to reduce the smell by putting water in the sinks and leaving the window open and door closed but it couldn’t be removed completely. It was such a shame because it was clear a lot of work had gone into making the place beautiful. I have marked the place down for cleanliness, just because of the smell in the bathroom - not because the place was at all dirty.

Lovely and very large light room with great views over the sea. Actually on the seafront. Modern and considered accommodation with fantastic staff. The bedroom was superbly equipped with plenty of lamps and sockets for phones etc thoughtfully positioned. A really pleasurable room to stay in. Breakfast was wonderful - great coffee. Some cooked eggs etc but a huge range of pastries croissants, breads and homemade jams as well as meats and local cheeses.The restaurant was excellent with a tempting menu of local fish and other local foods.

We liked everything. We feel we had an authentic Italian holiday hotel experience.

Our room was huge (could have easily slept a family of 4 which we didn't realise), stunning balcony views, very clean, comfortable beds, good shower. Location fantastic, right in the centre of town with restaurants and supermarket on the doorstep. No pool but we used the pool at the sister hotel each day which was lovely - no issues finding a lounger. We were able to get a free late check out which was much appreciated.

A kettle and cups were provided but no tea/coffee, breakfast was basic, otherwise no faults

Fabulous location. All staff so friendly and welcoming. Thank you to the breakfast girl who looked after me every am with GF bread. Room gorgeous decor, clean, fresh and lovely bright colours and great balcony. Food delicious especially breakfast choices. Private carpark (which you do pay for). Great views especially lovely eating outside in front of the sea.

We cannot think of anything we didn’t like!

The location is perfect, right on the sea front with excellent sea views. Everything in easy walking distance. The room was a great size and well furnished with a lovely balcony. Very friendly and helpful staff with quick and easy check in/out. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay one to remember.

Only a minor point but, plastic cups were provided for juice at breakfast and for in the room instead of actual glasses which would have been better. There was a kettle in the room but no tea/coffee/milk or cups, again only a minor point for improvement, everything else was brilliant and we thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Location right on the water was fabulous with outdoor seaside seating for breakfast or any meal. The rooms were spotless and new. The bathroom was roomy and lovely. Breakfast was good with a decent selection on offer Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy to get to and parking in the area was easy

Lucky to have an amazing room with a balcony (side sea view). Spacious, comfortable bed and equipments. Great location.

Be very careful what one of the staffs would suggest you concerning the boat trip and transfer possibilities. She really gave the worst possible recommendations with the highest price. Fortunately another colleague helped me out the other day. Service in the restaurant was poor though, yet they charged for service fees per person.

Location close to everything you need. Room was clean and recently decorated. Fully equipped for hosting guests. Arrived earlier that planned but within hour was checked in. Hotel has their own parking next street. Receptionist is amazing person, knowledgeable, advised very nice spots. Very good asset to the member staff. Overall evething was good but breakfast needs to pay separate attention as there is not a big a choice of dishes.

As mentioned breakfast needs more choices of food

The hotel was right in the centre of the promenade over looking the sea. The views were amazing. The hotel staff were exceptional and ensured that our stay was firsts class. We ate at the hotel restaurant two nights during our stay and the food was excellent. The cocktails at the end of the day were an added bonus!

Not a thing

Great location right on the seafront, warm welcome at reception, the room was very comfortable. The hotel was thoughtfully decorated throughout with its own restaurant serving food all day which was good quality and always served well and with a smile. A delightful place to stay.
