The street on which the hotel is situated becomes pedestrian-only in the summer, which is an excellent idea. Unfortunately, it caused Google Maps to throw a wobbler, trying to direct us along impossibly narrow alleys and down flights of steps. Set your navigator for Via ai Ger, drive straight down the length of the street (it’s one-way), then look for the flags on the right, which mark the hotel car park. There is a back entrance to the hotel opposite. Our shower was tiny, but that is the price you pay for converting a historic building.

The breakfast service was non plus ultra and the best we ever had in a hotel. We were served at the table and even offered a glass of prosecco. Very friendly staff and we felt most welcome. Parking space behind hotel was perfect. Would highly recommend this place and would love to come back one day.

A beautiful family run hotel in now one of my favorite European villages. It's in the perfect location, just on the edge of the old town with easy access to the bike path or wandering the wonderful streets of Cannobio. I loved how the hallways meandered and offered unique views. The staff was wonderful and everything was perfect.
