We loved our stay in a traditional Trulli house and everything about our stay at Trullo Santangelo. The Trulli was well kitted out for everything you’d need and big bed, along with access to a communal kitchen. The location is wonderfully quiet amongst the olive groves but within east reach of the towns of the d’itra Valley. The hosts were very charming and we particularly liked the family feel. The breakfasts were incredible with lots of local produce and very friendly, attentive staff. We also were surprised to find that the hosts run occasional evening meals at the venue, charged separately at very good value and delicious home made food, with their wines on offer.

The Trullo is veey cute to stay in. Rystic but modern. The venue is beautifully decorated. The grounds are amazing. We found ourselves spending loads of time at the pool. It really is a perfect venue to spend a week at to relax. The staff are super friendly and available to answer any question. Their recommendations on places to go were excellent. They even helped us make some bookings for dinner and experiences. They reached out in advance and helped us plan for the days we were there. I found they super helpful. I would recommend this accomodation for couples and small families. They have an outdoor kitchen for preparing food. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of local fruit and pastries.

I wished we had more time to spend lazying at the amazing pool.

We loved loved loved our stay at Trullo Santangelo. The hosts were very welcoming and sweet. If we had any questions, they were answered immediately via whatsapp. We loved using the outdoor kitchen to cook something for our toddler. In general, the outdoor area was our favorite part. The pool, the little playground, the beautiful buildings and gardens. Although all rooms were booked out all the time, it all still felt really private. The room we stayed in was very spacious and well equipped. And lets not forget Hugo and Kite, the loveliest dogs we've ever met. Ceglie is a very short drive away and it must have been the most beautiful old town we've been to in Puglia. We cannot wait to come back!

Maria Louisa, Gabriella & Danny (chef) were the most amazing hosts. If you’re going to south Puglia you have to stay here and relax. Morning coffee by the pool and breakfast set under olive trees. They also do weekly dinners at the property that are a must. The rooms are very clean and simple. It’s such a special place to unwind and relax. I wish we could have stayed longer. Make sure you try their wine and olive Oil - it’s incredible.

Trullo Santangelo was the biggest surprise of our trip. The whole place was so beautifully thought out. From the amazing breakfast with only local products, to their own wines to making dinner in their outside kitchen. Everything was just a dream. For information about the area, where to go or just a nice table conversation Maria Luisa and Daniele are the best. We felt at home right away! Stop looking, start booking Trullo Santangelo and thank me later 👍🏻

What did we like? ...EVERYTHING. Without a doubt one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. Maria Luisa and Daniele were such lovely hosts, very prompt at replying to any of our queries, and welcomed us with the warmest reception. Staying at their Trullo on only day 2 of our holiday, we already knew that this was the highlight of our trip. Exceptionally beautiful surroundings and five-star service. They also have the most beautiful precious dogs who we absolutely fell in love with. We are still thinking of Hugo and Kite. We will be coming back.

An absolutely breathtaking place to stay! I cannot say enough amazing things about this property and the amazing staff. My partner and I would go back here in a heartbeat, especially to spend one more morning eating another amazing breakfast with the dogs or sitting by the pool reading our books amongst the butterflies :)

This is a very special place, run by the sweetest family who cares so much about every aspect the property and your stay. The property and facilities were beautiful, the accommodations were clean and comfortable, and breakfast every morning was exceptional! Maria Luisa is a treasure and makes you feel so at home!! She also no shortage of recommendations for the area :)

What’s not to love about this place? ♥️ Amazing picturesque trulli, lovely owners who will welcome you with a big smile and are kind and helpful, cuddly four legged friends. We had a very spacious and comfortable lamia, it was very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast under the Mulberry tree was definitely a daily highlight, fresh and tasty local products served with a smile. If you want to experience true Italian hospitality look no further. We are already thinking about returning next year to escape the hustle and bustle of every day life.

Due to no fault of the owners but still something to be aware of: during the weekend evenings there was a lot of noise (music/karaoke) coming from one of the nearby properties. Inside our lamia it wasn’t too bad, and we sleep with earplugs anyway so it was not an issue for us.

We had the best stay at Trullo Santangelo. The place is beautifull. The breakfast was amazing (And the place where you had breakfast made it even better). We also had dinner one night at the Trullo, which was amazing! If they organise dinner during your stay I would definatelly recommend to join. Maria and Daniela and other staff are very friendly
