Hotel Borgo Del Mare

After flying all night from the US to Italy, we needed a transport from the airport to a hotel near the port for a cruise leaving the next day. This hotel arranged the transport from airport for us and provided good accommodations to rest up and wait for our cruise the following day. They have a restaurant onsite for dinner and included breakfast with the overnight rate. They also provided transport from hotel to the port. This hotel provided everything we needed: Transports, quiet, clean accommodations, and food on site. They were very helpful!

Very nice hotel, staff were very friendly. The room was clean but small but that was expected in Italy as this was the same on previous trips in Italy. Alessandro was amazing arranging our ride to the airport as well as a limo service to Rome when we complete our cruise. It was also very nice to have a restaurant at the hotel. The menu was very good for dinner. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

At first we found out there was not much for sightseeing in the area of the hotel but on our ride to the cruise ship (15 minutes away) there is a very nice tourist area of the city which I wish we had known about earlier.

This wonderful establishment saved us when our ferry arrived too late for our planned transfer to Rome. We booked online at short notice and they quickly made WhatsApp contact. In the dark and rain at the port we could find no bus or taxi and we WhatsApped them for advice. Within 20 mins they had collected us from the port for a very reasonable €15, and the next morning transferred us to the train station for a very reasonable €10. We had a fabulous pizza there on arrival - quality at a great price. Nothing was too much bother. Everyone was relaxed, friendly and helpful. Thanks to them a potentially stressful evening became a very enjoyable one.

I liked that the property was small and quaint. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The morning buffet was good, but the evening meals were so delicious!!!! Amazing!

Some parts of the property looked a little tired and could use a bit of a paint or small repairs. The air conditioning in our room didn’t seem to be working at full capacity.

After the ferry from Barcelona this hotel was a good location for our trip to Puglia and although we didn’t get to see the surrounding area the hotel and staff were very helpful. Before travelling I broke my ankle, the hotel had a lift so I wasn’t overly concerned about the room. When we arrived the gentleman on reception gave us a disabled room on the ground floor which was very spacious and comfortable. we had dinner at the restaurant, there was an a’carte menus and a daily special set menu. The food was very tasty and the portions large. the house wine was very drinkable and the bill acceptable. Breakfast was also good with a good choice of hot and cold food.

I loved everything about this little hotel! Family owned and they are so sweet and accommodating. In a quiet area near the port. Hotel sent a car to pick us up from the airport and had a shuttle to the port for the cruise at reasonable prices. Yummy breakfast with premium coffee! Dinners available at a good price. Prepared by a local chef on site. Would definitely stay again!

Staff were so helpful. We ordered a driver to pick us up at the airport. They were on time and very professional. Staff at check in were quick and also helpful. The hotel was located in a good location as well. The breakfast was great. Enough food to keep us full for the day. We had dinner at their restaurant. Food was really good and the price was so reasonable.

This was short but very nice and so much pleasant stay. The warm welcoming from the owner of the hotel and so kind girl from the reception is what we appreciate a lot. The hotel is on the good location and easy approachable by car, also has a good parking spaces. The room is old fashioned, but big enough and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and everything was so clean. The breakfast choices were so delicious.

I had a good comfortable room, everything worked as it should and for the price it was good value. I walked from the train station which was a mistake because it was quite a long walk (about 25 minutes) and the road wasn’t an easy route alongside a busy road in places. Breakfast was fine, simple and enough to keep you going for the morning

This is the second time staying in this hotel. It's only 10 minutes from the ferry port and makes an ideal 1st night stop over for our motorbike tour of Italy. The hotel was clean and comfortable and they very kindly made us pizza when we arrived late due to a delay with our ferry. We thought it was very reasonably priced and parking for our motorbike was free. We would certainly stay here again.
