Sleep'n go Hotel

This small hotel was an absolute joy for the two of us because of the personable and accommodating staff, and the convenient proximity to the airport. When we were booking our stay, our questions about the accessibility for a walker user were answered promptly and accurately. A lift for use instead of the stairs was available and assistance with luggage was provided. The hotel was nestled among lovely trees and flowering plants. A restaurant is next door, from where we enjoyed a take-out meal in the hotel. A full breakfast service had not restarted yet since covid, but coffee and packaged snacks were available. Our room was a comfortable size with its own a/c unit. We opened the window to the early spring air. Our bathroom was spacious for wheelchair accessibility and had a roll in shower. Reasonably priced transportation was arranged for us to and from the airport at our request. We would definitely stay at this hotel again, when we would be using the airport. It was like an oasis for us as we were transitioning from a vacation mindset to a lengthy overseas flight home.

Everyone who works there was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The bedroom I had was big, had AC and a tv. The building was spotless, as was my room and shower. As soon as I arrived I was asked if I want transport for the airport the next day and it was book right away. A 4min walk down the road from the hotel is a lovely bakery and coffee shop, full of locals who are happy to chat (even if they don’t speak much English and my Italian is very basic at best) I also recommend La Pecora Nera for food if the restaurant next door to Sleep’n go is full.

The staff and our receptionists were incredibly kind and patient. We were coming to Roma by train so weren’t sure of our arrival and then had difficulties getting a taxi. The staff promptly replied on whatsapp and even gave us the number of a taxi company. As the title suggests of Sleep n Go, this property is primarily for those seeking to go to the airport. I was originally concerned when we arrived based off first impressions (it is behind a Wild Western themed restaurant), but actually in the room the floors were clearly recently updated, and the bathroom was very clean and also seemed to be recently updated. My first impression was wrong and there was nothing of concern in the space! To airport: We had a super early flight of 6am so the shuttle wasn’t operating. We used the same taxi company the hotel had provided earlier and it costs us 25 euros to-get to the airport (04:30 ride). Ride was less than 10 minutes.

We booked Sleep 'n' Go at a few days notice. It was a third of the price of some of the other Rome airport hotels. It's well represented in the pictures. The room was clean, comfortable and had aircon. We had a quiet night. Staff were very friendly and speak English. There's a really good steak house right next door.

Although only a couple of KM from the airport you can only get there by car (10-15mins from the hotel to airport departures due to the traffic around the airport). Sleep 'n' Go will arrange a transfer for €15 one way which seemed reasonable.

The hotel is located about 10 min drive from the airport FCO, it's very convenient for overnight transfers. The room has a comfortable bed, shower, air conditioning, TV. The reception is open until 20 PM, they sent me very detailed instructions, how to get to the hotel at night. They provided a phone of transfer's company, driver picked us up from the airport at night and drove us in the morning and also checked that we were able to get the key out of the box. I recommend the hotel for an overnight stay, I will definitely use it again if necessary.

Rooms are very clean and a lot of space. Specially beds are super comfortable. Quiet place !! I love that we woke up by the rooster crowing！

I felt that the way I received the key (sharing key box with other guests ) was not safe from security point of view. Because the key box we opened there was not a key. We arrived in late night and there was no staff at the hotel, we were very worried because could not understand anything with the guidance only in Italian even when I called. Luckily, we got a room, but our family has to sleep separately. Next day hotel staff said to us other guest took our key.... Big thanks for the driver "Mike" who we ordered transfer from airport !

Check in went quickly and smoothly. Likewise the check-out system is geared towards travelers who depart outside of the front desk hours. The room met my basic needs for cleanliness and comfort. The property location is very convenient for those travelers who make use of the offsite airport parking locations located in the Fiumicino area.

Close for airport room was clean and comfortable ideal for quick getaway for airport didn’t see staff on arrival but did quickly next morning nothing much else to say a quick visit sleep and go definitely all clean

Maybe a kettle to make cup of tea or coffee would be good idea as we arrived late we couldn’t get anything and all we wanted was a drink and sleep

the lady receiving us was the kindest. She helped us also book a taxi from the hotel to Ciampino airport at 4:00 am. Not sure if I've ever stepped into a cleaner room than this was. Facilities were clean and working well. the room was big and the bed was good to sleep in.

The soundproofing could've been better. You could hear very clearly what the next door neighbors or people at the hall were talking about. This could've been fixed with a pair of earplugs I'm sure

Staff was very good at communication. We had late check-in and early check out and all went smoothly. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel was quiet. There are restaurants nearby and the hotel is about a 5 minute drive to Fiumicino Airport. This hotel is a great value and I'd stay there again if flying out of Rome. 9 guests, 5 rooms. All guests in party were very pleased with the stay. June 2023
