Il Fogliano Hotel

The staff was excellent. Very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The view of the sea and the shower in the room were great. The proximity to the beach was amazing. The room was large and comfortable.

The walls were peeling! Everyday we could watch more and more of the point pop off the wall. It was very unsightly. We also got back to our room one night and turning on one of the lights caused a power outage in the room. It was fixed sometime the following day, but a strange and potentially very annoying fault. What if it had been the bathroom light?

Great hotel right on the beach which we loved. Hotel was extremely clean and modern . The staff were exceptional especially the manager at breakfast and also the manager of the beach she was so lovely and helpful . The reception staff were so helpful also. Lovely breakfast each morning and restaurant food was very nice too .

Restaurant does not cater for kids more of an adult menu e.g fish etc they should add pizza and pasta dishes to menu. Loud music playiing on 2 nights of our stay until 1pm . So loud could not sleep. Very surprised at this for such an upmarket hotel . Just be aware if bringing young kids .

The property was clean and well maintained. Loved our room! It was modern and very clean. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job in restocking any supplies. The staff was exceptional and so very welcoming.

The only negatives were that there were too many little rocks and seashells on the beach which made it difficult to wade into the water. There wasn’t a variety of vegetation menu options.

I loved the room. It was spacious, very well equipped with a couch and a great bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. I had a great terrace on the sea. I could keep windows open and hear the sea. In the morning, this was great. Great restaurant.

Only one tap in the shower did not work. Also, being the WE, the hotel had a DJ and loud music until 2 pm on each night. It's hard to sleep despite the insulating windows.

Spectacular stay — the hotel is very comfortable and very clean, with a complete courtesy kit. The beach is gorgeous, well equipped and very easy to access. The Oltremare gourmet restaurant is a rare gem. Quiet and elegant, with a Michelin-star-worthy menu and great prices. The smoked ricciola was stellar; the vegan dessert was easily the best dessert I have had. I would recommend this experience over the loud and bustling bistrot. The views are breathtaking all around (lake view rooms are lovely). We will be back!

All perfect

All the staff from receptionist to Maître d'hotel was excellent and answer any of our needs. For breakfast, Carla was extremely professional, courteous and dedicated. The restaurant Bistrot was fantastic with fresh varied food to please everybody. They even accepted a special order not on the menu late at night just to accommodate us. The maître D answered all our wishes. They managed to make you feel special and made this stay memorable. Thank you.

The beach is beautiful and the location ideal for day trips. The hotel serves a fabulous breakfast and has the most amazing desserts and coffee bar. The reception was very helpful when we had questions.

During the holiday season on Fridays the hotel hosts a big party which goes on to 1.30am. This meant it was impossible to sleep well that night. The service in the restaurant is not good and definitely not up to 4* standards. As a result we ate in 2 other local restaurants which were excellent.

I not only enjoyed a perfect breakfast each morning but you server CARLA was superb!! attentive but not intrusive always ready to help with smile but itwas difficult to see her smile because of the mask, but her voice and demeanour where perfect every time EXCELLENT!!! I made the comment that she was worth her weight in gold to the desk and was told that the company was very aware

Florescent lighting in the room does not cfeate the correct ambience in th rooms The absence OF ABS charge points in all area is reminiscent of the early 2000s Pehaps 02 needs a look!

This was a perfect stay. The staff and service was fantastic, the room was clean, the bed was super comfy and with beautiful sea view. Food (breakfast, dinner) was exceptional. The beach has black sand, but the sun beds are provided, so we enjoyed the sea very much. The sea itself is clean. We loved every moment here and we will come back.

The facility was exceptionally beautiful - right on the beach. The breakfast was exceptional. The service was lovely - even got a free upgrade for our honeymoon. And overall the facility and amenities were very well maintained with tasteful decor. Only downside was that the pool and hot tub were closed due to repairs, but it didn’t bother us so much. Highly recommend for an off the beaten path experience that is not crowded with tourists and for some relaxation.
