Hotel Il Cavalier D'Arpino

The spacious high ceiling breakfast room was lovely with a warm & inviting atmosphere. There was a good assortment of breakfast items but mostly leaning towards the typical sweet side than the savoury.

Our room was small and our single beds were narrow. The hotel was nearly full so I don’t know if larger rooms exist and we just happened to get a smaller room. Upon completing our morning room service, the cleaning staff used a spray air freshener, which was very strong. As we both have a sensitivity to chemical air fresheners, we discussed our issue with the owner and the practise was discontinued during our stay. The Owner was very concerned and did her best to make our stay comfortable.

Our culinary detour in Arpino, mid-way from Rome to Puglia, was nothing short of delightful. The hotel's friendly staff, led by a knowledgeable owner, instantly made us feel welcomed. Nestled in the heart of Arpino, the hotel featured a tranquil garden and a prime location. The owner shared local insights of where to go and arranged a contact to a nearby farm for us, which we visited for a tour and some antipasti with a touch of authenticity. Our room was spacious and clean with a good AC. The windows offered a view of the garden and were equipped with effective blackout blinds for a peaceful morning rest. The hotel's ample parking space was a bonus, allowing us come and go by car as we pleased.

The sound isolation to the hallway could have been better. The hot water regulator for the shower was a bit unstable.

A lovely, traditional hotel with a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very helpful, our rooms were fabulous, and the views across town were breathtaking. The hotel is in a converted mill, and the building is spacious and full of character. The hotel is in a good location, a short walk from the town centre. We enjoyed the breakfasts provided and appreciated the tea room where we could make ourselves a hot drink whenever we wanted. Many thanks to Rodolfo for his advice about the Passeggiata Panoramica - we had a very exciting walk around the ancient walls at the top of the hill! And many thanks also to the owner, Sonia, who arranged a taxi for our arrival, and kindly provided a personal shuttle service to the station when we left.

It wasn't warm enough to be able to enjoy the hotel's lovely gardens - we will have to come back in the warmer months!

This is a great hotel with excellent and friendly staff , the place is spotlessly clean and the offer a convenient and fresh breakfast . We stayed with our 5 year old who was very comfortable on an air mattress and we had a lovely large balcony .

The only downside is the street where this hotel is located - it’s is a typical Naples street but very dirty , broken glass etc . Nothing to do with the hotel and we felt safe there. The area is very convenient to Goran Aldo station metro and main stations for tours and exploring the city

Fabulous breakfast with homemade cakes and good coffee.Very relaxed atmosphere and easy access with elevator and parking. Sonia and Rudolfo absolutely delightful and so obliging. Rudolfo booked us a fabulous restaurant and a taxi for my birthday lunch.Charming and atmospheric room with glorious view.

A bar or the availability of a wine on the premises would have been wonderful.Such beautiful surroundings it would have been great to relax there with a drink rather than going out to a bar. Safe in room wasn't working.

Hotel stuff we're very nice & welcoming. The building is very special with a lot of atmosphere even in the small details. The room was big with comfortable bed, good air-condition & nice sofa to relax. The bathroom was very clean with, we received shampoo, soap and more that we really liked. There is a beautiful & neat garden & free safe parking. We will definitely come back again on our next trip to Italy. Thank you Sofia for having us with a big smile & warm welcome. Toibis family

Beautiful location, amazing Italian town. Gorgeous gardens, very welcoming informative staff. Stunning town views from our second floor room. Nice touch was the tea room, where you could help yourself to water, coffee or tea. Nice sized bedroom with comfortable bed. Small restaurants within walking distance. I can recommend Trattoria del Corsa.

They had VERY loud parties 2 nights in a row. We should have been informed when we booked that there will be parties, or parties should not be organized since guests come with the intention to sleep and rest at night.

Beautiful gardens, rooms and delicious breakfast! Spotless rooms and very friendly staff. The hotel is located in a perfect spot, a short walk away from the piazza and there’s a handy little store next door that sells groceries and drinks.

They don’t have a terrace bar to show off their amazing gardens and let the people relax there with some drinks, that would make this place 10/10. The hotel needs to spice up their entertainment for guests.
