Hotel Torretta

Excellent location, free of charge parking spaces were available onsite and also across the road. Exceptionally clean everywhere, our room was being cleaned and towels changed every day. Full of character hotel where each guest is treated as a VIP. Great atmosphere - the family and staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional. Nothing was too much trouble - the staff went above and beyond to help me organise a surprise Birthday cake and flowers for my wife. A great bonus were the lunch and dinner booking options and the meals were delicious. Already looking forward to visiting again!

Wonderful place to stay which I would highly recommend. The staff could not have been more helpful and warm and friendly. That made a huge difference to the whole atmosphere of the hotel. Gabriel organised a taxi to meet us at the airport as our flight arrived so late and was very helpful with an issue we had with local transport (we were rather unfairly fined on the local bus!). Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice in a spacious dining room. We loved it! The swimming pool and terrace around it was very well kept and a lovely bonus. We had a very relaxing stay and the hotel was a welcoming and comfortable place to come back to after days out. It is also very well located for getting around the area. I’d definitely go back!

What a great place. We had a wonderful time here. Staff all went to great lengths to make is feel welcome and were exceptionally helpful. The food was excellent and very good value. The rooms were comfortable spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub great. Close enough to walk to the center of town and the train station but far enough away from center to be a peaceful relaxing retreat I would highly recommend the hotel Torretta to everyone.

We have been treated with exceptional care and kindness by the owner of the hotel Dante S. and his kind family making us feel welcome and at home. It started with our late arrival at the hotel. We were worried not to be able to get dinner after having already skipped lunch. The family called nearby restaurants to find us one where the kitchen would still be open. At the end they prepared us a wonderful dinner with insalata caprese and melon and prosciuto in the hotel. The owner Dante entertained us at dinner and showed us around the beautiful historic thermal establishments in Montecatini explaining us the history and the role of Leopold from Habsburg Lothringen in the region. Even more, he treated us with prosecco. Last but not least, the day of our departure our son got an ear infection and Dante and his family helped to find a doctor/ hospital to treat him on the same day. Beautiful, traditional hotel situated moments from the funicular with a peaceful pool, always with a mix of sun and shade and plenty of beds. An excellent breakfast each morning with a wonderful choice of fresh pastries, fruit, eggs, bacon, cakes, biscuits, and more. We didn't try dinner as we were limited for time, but we heard very good things from other guests. The staff were friendly and helped up with anything we needed. A special thank you to the gentleman at breakfast who remembered our drinks order each order without us even asking, always served with a smile. A wonderful stay and somewhere I would definitely return to.

This is really an excellent hotel, one of the best I have ever seen. Very very warm, friendly personnel and hotel owner, who do everything they can to ensure that their guests have a wonderful time in their hotel. My first room was rather small, but another bigger-sized room was available the next day without any additional charge! Everything worked fine inside the room, except for the plug of the bath tube, but that problem was promptly fixed the next day. The breakfast was wonderful, the restaurant offered excellent food, well done! Also the hotel is beautifully situated, rather close to the town centre and very close to the funicular to Montecatini Alto. Also, the guarded parking is very pleasant. I can recommend anyone to stay in this hotel!

The hotel located very good for guests who arrived on car as very close is parking. In 200 m is funicular to go on top of Montecatini Terme. It very attractive place!

The hotel of 4 stars should offer slippers minimum! There is no kettle, body lotion, shoe sponge but it is nothing compared nice nature around!

excellent location in the quiet part of the city by the Thermal Park. very close to the Thermal palace and funicular. very friendly staff that makes you feel welcome and like at home. very good breakfast.

It was very comfortable family room, two separate rooms with bathrooms, good beds and side door, rooms were spacious and with good air conditioner, as we travelled with 18-years daughter. We had a balcony too.

Very good Hotel with excellent location within the city. The pool is very good as well as the breakfast. Their staff where amazing and the coffee is just superb.
