It was massive, the rooms were huge, very friendly staff, massive car park but the entrance to tight & narrow to get our 4x4 & boat inside but it was safe over the road..

The place i love it i have lots of good memories in it since 10 years.
The place i know it from 10 years ago, when it was managed by the owner herself may her soul rest in peace, but the new management need to work out on keeping the name of the place. I had a big surprise in the room i was given i had to find a responsible person from the hotel to solve it, as i was planning to leave the place at 11pm because of the unpleasant surprise. i was given a different room and a compensation which I don't care for, out of respect to memory i have in that place. I will share pictures only with the new management.

The gentleman who was in the breakfast room serving every morning was very nice, very helpful and cheerful. Hotel was clean.
Given wrong occupied room when we arrived, 2nd day fire at hotel no fire alarms went off, no hot water or electric for a day. Staff not very helpful on them days, again no hot water on day 8, booked a table for evening meal to be seated in the garden. when we arrived to eat, told no table in the garden which was book. This apparently due to a party, we should have been told in the beginning, had to then make other last minute arrangement to eat out, very inconvenient, staff couldn't care less. Didn't even try to accomadate us. Strange arrangement with the staff. Also towels and bedding not done on a Sunday, if we had been told housekeeping was not done, we would have saved our wet towels from the floor to be renewed, not even offered clean towels. Bad communication from a staff point of view.
