Hotel Regent

Delicious, diverse Italian food, friendly hotel staff. The corner room was tiny, but the terrasse was more significant than the room, and there was a deck chair so you could sunbathe. There is a bar in front of the hotel on the beach with friendly staff and a pleasant evening atmosphere with good music.

Wi-Fi sometimes disconnects and is occasionally slow. But the personnel quickly fixed the problem. I would recommend putting the safe in the room and a small fridge.

The hotel is located very close to a clean, large beach. We paid extra for a sea view room which allowed us to have a stunning panorama of the coast and turquoise sea. There were some nice bars/restaurants close to the hotel, including a pizzeria, fish restaurant and beach bars. The bus stop is directly next to the hotel, making it easy to take the number 10 bus into the vibrant city center where there is lots of shopping and a multitude of choice for restaurants/cafes. It is also possible to walk into the main part of the city over the bridge and takes around 25 minutes on foot. The room was comfortable and cleaned daily, with clean towels provided. The bathroom was also nice and bright with a clean shower and a bidet. There was air conditioning, which was really powerful and kept the room cool. Breakfast was simple but there were lots of options, including various pastries, cakes and savory choices. The large balcony was private, divided from neighboring rooms and nice for sitting out to catch the morning sun. Staff members were extremely helpful, going above and beyond for us, printing our boarding passes, providing us with scissors and a bottle opener when we needed them, and rectifying an issue with noise from a party of other guests. They were very friendly, always greeted us with a smile and gave information about the city/transport links. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Regent and Pescara generally and we would love to return here again.

The free WiFi wasn't very strong so we couldn't really use it. The room would have benefitted from a minibar/refrigerator to keep drinks cool. It would have been great to have a safe/locked box in the room for storing valuables too. However, these are minor points that didn't significantly impact on our enjoyment of our stay.

The room had an exceptional terrace with a view of the bay, the bridge and the port. Watching sunset and sunrise from this balcony was a beautiful experience. The breakfast was good and the morning receptionist extremely helpful with guiding us how to reach planned destinations, booking a taxi and giving us directions. The other staff were also friendly and breakfast was good. The hotel is well located. There are two bus stops one on each side of the hotel providing an efficient way to go to the city centre. Cafeterias, pizzerias and restaurants are also close by.

The shower area was a bit small and shower itself fixed to the wall.

The room is comfortable, has required amenities and breakfast is good. The hotel is in a good location as the bus to the center of Pescara stops just in front of the hotel. The area where the hotel is seems nice but its about 10/15 minutes walk from the center.

Cleaning could be done a bit better (i.e dust behind doors etc)

We loved the area in which the hotel is located. It is a very lively hotel, lots of different people, a good vibe overall. The beach is right in front over the street, nice restaurants in the area, a bus station very near. Definitely the best hotel in Pescara for a city break.

The room was a little bit old, needing some repairs. It is a bit loud in the evening so probably not the best option for people who prefer quiet vacations.

Breakfast was outstanding (I stay at American hotel chains about 80 nights per year, and the hotel breakfast at this hotel was much much better than at American hotel chains). The room was basic and small, but comfortable. I was very happy with it. The location is perfect. And they stored our luggage all day, which we appreciated.

Nothing, the hotel was great. It might be hard for some people to take a shower, since it's a tiny tub with a hose. But it's just something you have to get the hang of.

We love this hotel, having stayed here before. The breakfast is always plentiful, fresh and delicious and cleanliness is of the highest standard. What really makes Hotel Regent special for us is the staff. They are all so welcoming, friendly and helpful. It's also exceptional value for money being so close to the beach.

Great place to spend a relax holiday with the family (2 children). Nice and always helpful staff (prolongation room rent, help with covid tests, and a lot of other questions). Breakfast staff very nice! Room was renewing however bathroom need quick renovation ;) Beach just in front of hotel doors. Clean towels every day, bed linen 1x3 days.

Bathroom is really old. No space to dry towels and swimsuits on the balcony (just chairs), maybe a dryer could be a nice bonus.

The location is great , not too far from the centro , and the bus station was right there , the bus was coming every 20 minutes . staff were great and very helpful

The room was spacious, enough towels , but one thing O didn’t like , was the floor that was very dirty . they clean everything except the floor

Brekfast and stuff good. Control all foods even if you go before 10.00. Recepction is quite kind. Did not want to accept my electronic id. Why? I don’t know. Room clean. But the noise from toilet room beside you was horrible. Location is fine. Very close the beach. My rating is 4.
