GRAND HOTEL SERAPIDE

Staff was great, super friendly and helpful. Amazing views from the hotel, from the room, and from the terrace.

I felt like what I thought I reserved on Booking wasn't exactly the same room that I got. To be fair, I think it was an issue with the images that were shown through Booking, and not through the hotel themselves. The images were a mix, and it made it seem to me I was getting the hot tub room, but that wasn't the case apparently when I arrived. Also, travelers should note that the hotel is attached to an event center, and it can get loud if they're having an event. It didn't bother us, as we loved the festivity that was going on around us and felt it was part of being in Italy. The PEOPLE ARE AMAZING!

The staff, the views, the service, and the comfortable bed! We booked specifically for the room with the terrace. When we arrived, we couldn't have that room, and I was devastated. I was given another suite but it wasn't what I wanted for our anniversary holiday and I was very angry. If it wasn't for one of the staff members, Ciccio, who took great care of us and fixed anything else he could for us, we would have left the hotel. We started to look for other options, but we were kindly given food and drinks on the house, Ciccio arranged for a driver and handed us over to another lovely staff member when he left. We are very grateful for a wonderful time - all of the staff were lovely to us, I don't remember the ladies' name on reception, but she was also very helpful. Wasn't what I had dreamed it would be, but they did their best to fix it, and good service will always go a long way!!! The views from the communal terrace are incredible, and the bed was so comfortable! They left rose petals and champagne in our room, which was also a nice touch. Thanks again to Ciccio and everyone who made our stay better 🙏 ❤️

The jacuzzi in room didn't work 😕

We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves and we’re treated really well. It was our last day before returning home (6 am flight). The scenery was gorgeous. We spent the entire afternoon and evening in the terrace either having a meal or drinking wine on the comfortable seating areas. The wait staff was very nice and professional. Rooms were large and clean.

With the beauty comes the pain. We came by ferry and because this property is located outside of Napoli, the taxis charge literally double. We paid 70 euros from the marina. The next morning they ordered us a car to take us to airport at 3:30. They told us it would be a flat rate of 50 euros. We got to the airport and he charged us 80. So location was expensive but we agree the view was worth it.

Everything was great and so nice! The hotel is beautiful our room was magical the jacuzzi in the room top cherry! Breakfast was great and we loved the location. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to wake up with the best feeling and view of the coast of Naples.

We had just a few copper stains on the sink bathroom also they didn’t have any support on the shower to leave the soaps shampoos and conditioner I would suggest on that big everything was great other than that.

The hotel was amazing and the staff was fantastic. However, it was way farther from the airport than appeared and cost quite a bit to come and go to the airport, although they report free shuttle service it is only at limited times and not conducive to early morning or late afternoon flights. The hotel would be awesome it just not for overnight. You need to stay longer for the value to be good. The hotel was modern, beautiful, great food at the resturant and beautiful view overlooking the ocean.

the room was comfortable and clean. the breakfast was good. lots of variety and very clean. we only stayed one night so didn’t get to experience anything more about the property. the staff were very friendly and helpful

it was very far from the airport, and the shuttle only goes to 5:00 pm so the taxi cost was about 60 Euros. they didn’t offer a shuttle to the ferry terminal in Naples, so that was another 60 Euros for the taxi.

Our first room was a superior suite overlooking sea- very beautiful and spacious. Hotel VERY clean and has a lovely terrace overlooking sea and breakfast was bountiful and delicious.

We had reservations for this hotel 5 nights later and when we checked out the first time was told our next stay was not a superior suite so we asked to upgrade and manager said we'll see when you get back. I think he knew already that the hotel was fully booked with a large travel group already but did not say so. So when we did come back we had a MUCH smaller room with no view. After much arguing they finally gave us a suite that was not as nice as the first one and cost $100 extra. The hotel has VERY limited shuttle hours and is far from ports or airport so for 3 out of 4 of the "shuttle" service we had to pay $50-90 each way. So shuttle is really not very helpful. Had I known this would have stayed closer to airport.

We stayed at Hotel Serapide for an extended time and it was lovely. The view is phenomenal and the staff is exceptional. The rooms are beautiful with a delicious breakfast buffet included. Great for events or romantic get aways.

You cannot walk to very many places so without a car you are limited. The hotel will provide shuttles during certain hours and to certain places. Having a rental car is the best option. There is no pool or gym. The room had a few issues requiring minor repairs throughout our stay: toilet would sometimes run, the refrigerator wouldn't stay cold, and 1 out of the 2 AC units did not work properly but the staff was quick to fix anything we needed.

When we arrived a room was ready. Unfortunately as booking.com had advertised there wasn’t a balcony. Thankfully we were greeted by the nicest reception staff ever Rose and Rosalie and they were able to change our room.

We arrived for breakfast at 8.10 and hot breakfast had gone.

Beautiful view from the balcony. Nice room. Staff helped organize a paid transfer from the airport (we arrived very late in the night).

Some items on the breakfast menu were gone and weren't refilled when we got to there (an hour after it started). Minor issue.
