Hotel Locanda Dolce Vita

The man in the bar helped me with check in, he was most kind. The locanda is very pleasant, pale pink and cream walls and doors, marble stairs.. My room was on the top floor, no lift unfortunately. My room was excellent, the first impression I got was very positive, exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. The double bed was super comfortable and the bathroom in pale pink and cream coloured marble was lovely. I'm really impressed by this place and the kindness of the man in the bar next door. Next time in San Donà I shall definitely go there again guaranteed satisfaction.

No lift to the top floor, no big deal though

We booked 2 standard rooms with double beds for a one night stay with the kids. The hotel is easy to reach by car from Venice. They sent me a online checkin link for late checkin (there is no night reception). I forgot to fill it in, but they bugged me and we fixed everything around midnight. When you do the online check-in, you get access codes to a key box next to the main entrance. The keybox contains magnetic cards that give you access to the building and to the room. It worked great. The room is fairly big, with a desk and two comfy beds. Everything clean and nice. The breakfast is in a bar in the same building. The breakfast is quite simple, coffee + a croissant. The hotel totally worked for us, we were looking for reasonably priced, clean rooms with basic services. Kudos.

You should know that the breakfast is rather simple. Also, I think one needs a car to get there. It is about 40 minutes drive from Venice city center.

We stayed for 1 night, for that reason - especially if you are coming by car - it is a perfect hotel. But it is far from everything, and when we stayed there - it was Sunday night - all the services in the hotel were closed, we were let in by a lovely old lady.

Only paper towels, like in a hospital. (Truly no idea which is more environmental-friendly, the paper or the textile..., if the paper, I excuse.)

good clean apartment with a nice and clean toilet. Clean comfortable room and nicely renovated house. Would really recommend for a stay

Ok my be check in procedure is not so efficient. There is a link and you have to fill it in in advance. I missed notification about it and came without pre filling it. However as soon as I called a host came meet us and made all formalities. So it total it works. Also breakfast includes only 1 coffee and 1 croissant nothing more

The host speaks only Italian, a bit difficult to understand each other, still managed, the online check in is a bit misleading as it wanted a payment again to receive the code to get access to the room (i have already paid through Booking), so we went directly to the property.

Nice and cozy little room. For the money you just cant find better. We just slept there one night because it is close to airport. Really tasty croissant and great coffe for breakfast. Owner is really friendly and I specially liked his bar. Many great beers. 🙂

There was no staff in person at all. All was virtual. The breakfast is very limited, it is a coffee and a croissant.

they have “breakfast included” but actualy it’s just a chocolate corn with coffe

The room is confortable and cleean. The staff is friendly but the communication was only in Italien language.

The main road is near and the traffic is havy.

No breakfast taken but there’s a nice cafe next door for a quick coffee and pastry. Lovely Trattoria for Lunch and Dinner too 😊

The location might be a bit impractical if you don’t drive .
