Location, weather, food was excellent!
Information on where the local restuarant were as the hotel restuarant was closed. Map on Prosecco wine shops and farms and tastings. In South Africa you go to wine farms and have tastings at every farm. Usually also you can have something small to eat. In Itally it works different and we wasted a lot of time driving around to find the wine farms. We only find out much later that there is only wine shops to go to. The wine farms are also not advertised well. Hardly any signs next to the roads to give any indication.

The hotel location is superb overlooking the vineyards below and the mountains to the left and the coast to the right. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless and well equipped. If you stay here, you must eat in the restaurant at least once as it has a fantastic ambiance and the food & wine exquisite!
I only stayed one night and should have booked at least 2 nights. It would be the ideal place/setting for a totally chilled out holiday.

Our stay was kinda unplanned . We booked the room the same day we arrived at Villa del Poggio and once there it was so special . The place is breaking . Our room view was up to the valley and the vineyards , everything was so bright and peaceful . The staffs was so kind gentle and helpful . We had a rest by the pool , working actually but in the most amazing way . We had our aperitif on the terrace enjoining the landscape enlightened by the sunset which was so magical and then we moved to the restaurant just next to the Villa and had the most delightful dinner : crudités seafood and Prosecco . For sure we’re gonna get back so soon .

Amazing restaurant specialising in fish. Very good value! Comfortable beds, good breakfast stunning view from some rooms and the terrace bar.
A big evening party but I guess that's to be expected in such a location, big music til 22pm. But we could have moved rooms and the staff were super helpful.

Room is comfortable, as is the whole hotel. Spa is available at reduced service and was really nice. Breakfast was good as well. Staff was very helpful and location is beautiful.
There was music playing in the corridors, which was audible in the room as well. This made an otherwise great room less comfortable, though the music was not audible at night. Restaurant near the hotel was OK but a bit expensive.
