Idea Hotel Plus Savona

Lovely hotel in Savona, the room was spacious and very clean. Clean towels, soap and shampoo were provided everyday during our stay, beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh but not as varied as I expected from a 4* hotel. Even though the hotel was located near a mall it wasn't noisy and there were a lot of restaurants nearby. The city center and the port were 25 min away walking distance.

The breakfast could have been more varied, there was no cheese and the quality of the food overall was average. The blankets that covered the beds were quite shabby.

It was great for one night stay before cruise. Convenient location and parking, room was nice and clean. Breakfast was ok. There is an option for dinner. Dinner was fine. Also conveniently located in a small shopping center.

Breakfast could have a better selection.

Room large and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast - lots of choice and we could have as much as we wanted. Staff friendly. The Old Town is interesting and we also took a day trip to Genoa which has a wonderful castle and lots of interesting buildings.

The beach seemed further than we expected, but being good walkers we could get to there on foot and also to the Old Town. The signposting around town is not always helpful. I don't know if we got to Fornaci Beach or not - I don't think it was labelled.

First of all, the girl in reception, she was very helpful and supportive. As soon as we checked in, we extended our stay for two more nights. Free parking, nearby Savorno train station and I can say acceptable view from sixth floor. you can go to Nice and Monaco by Felix bus and Turin by train in the morning and return to the hotel at night. Mc Donald and some other restaurants are located in the neighborhood.

I can say nothing but suggest them to add some more options to the breakfast.

The location of the hotel and the parking - we were staying in Idea hotel for just one night before continuing our trip and it was convenient to park free right in front of the hotel, also the near shooping center with some restaurants was a plus for us this time. For longer stays this hotel wouldn't be our choice, but for one or two night definitely.

The breakfast colud be much better. Besides the preaty poor selection of food maybe even bigger minus is a breakfast room - small, cold, not cosy at all.

Clean and comfortable, with plenty of parking, and restaurants and McDonald's nearby. Good quality and a pleasant and comfortable stay. It's one of the easier hotels to spot from quite a distance, and makes finding it so much easier than many places that are hidden or not well marked. Much appreciated.

There is nothing to dislike. Savona was not a tourist destination for me, simply a convenient place to stay on my way from Cinque Terre to Nice. It was a good, short stay.

We asked the staff for a restaurant advise, they told us go to the city center! Not very friendly and helpful staff.

Good breakfast, diversified, not only the italian usual pasteries. Good coffee, too, but that`s an understatement! Very well placed in my case, close to a shopping center, beach and also easy acces to highway. The personel was impecable.

At the 4th floor, when we checked in, persisted a smell from the kitchen. It was present in the room, too. Also, there were some small holes in the sheets, but, at least, they were clean.

Was very clean. I loved the idea that you can check out maximum 12am. Reception was helpful and spoke good English !
