This hotel is definitely different to others where I stayed, mainly because its rooms are decorated with opera motives. being in a refurbished 18th century palazzo, it gives your stay at theatrical atmosphere that certainly set a different tone. leaving that aside, the hotel is well located near the Borgia fortress, it has parking, lots of options of room types, with comfortable furniture and facilities. it also has lots of meeting rooms in the style of the palazzo, including an antique piano in one of them. Good wifi, complimentary water, great views.

I liked it and recommend the hotel but there are a few points that are important to take into consideration when booking this hotel. all rooms are accessible only via staircases, as it is explained, so when carrying suitcases it may be important. to consider. the parking is directly communicated with the rooms, also by stairs. the room where we stayed had a boiler of 75 liters and in winter, when you come in wanting a hot shower, this means that your shower has to be really short. It was a mistake in our case: I had a long shower and my husband had to wait more than one hour for water to be hot again. Breakfast was good but not fantastic (nothing freshly cooked, for example, like eggs or cheeses). Maybe out of the Corona times it's more varied.

The style and ambience, having the opportunity to reside in and explore an Italian Palazzo. Reception staff were caring and of great assistance answering our questions.

Maybe an improved coffee machine would enable a better start to the day.

we enjoyed everything. very comfortable, the staff were the best, and also the great history of a real castle! secure parking, and air conditioning was great as well. we had to leave early on the final morning, and the owner had some breakfast to go. We will return. Grazie

Authentic looking accommodation with garden and fountains. Great for a one night stay.

Electrical outlets are loose. Noisy as the hotel is located along the road.

The room was decorated like the honeymoon suite from the the opera Turendot, a rare combination of colours,rather extravagante and exotic. Then I heard on my iPhone the song "Nessun Norma" from the opera and that gave me an extraordinary experience The Hotel is a real palazzo with a lot of interesting wall paintings. It was a pleasure to pass through the rooms , the dining room, the music room , really exciting

The hotel room was not low noise, w could hear the conversation of our neighbors

wonderful history and comfortable rooms. great breakfast as well. traditional Italian. second time to stay here.

The area is very nice, the centre is in walking distance. The room was huge, with a comfortable bed, a ittle fridge. The staff was super kind, showed everything around. Also free parking is available.

The palace and the surrounding is amazing
