Antica Residenza is in a beautiful old buildig restored beautifuly. I loved all details old timbers, wooden doors, windows. The room and bathroom are spacious. There is a big wardrobe in the room with planty of space for clothes. I spent 4 days only but I could spend more time to wander in Tirano and the surronding. There is a fridge and air condition in the room. The bathroom has a window too so you can enjoy fresh air at nights when temperature cools down. There is a terrace befor the room with tables and chairs. One evening I had a great dinner of pizza wich I bought in a nearby pizzeria on that terrace. Antica Resindenza is in the beautiful old town of Tirano, a few meters from the Poschiavo Porta, an old Gate of the old city. It is less then 10 minutes walk to Bernina Express and the local busses and trains. I arrived from Milano to Tirano by train and it is an easy walk to Antica residenza even with a suitcase to pull. In Italy you have too prepare for an italian sweet breakfast, which I love and always eat. In Antica Residenza beside the very fresh and tasty sweets I tasted the ham of the region which is faboulous. Elena the host is very helpfull speaks English very well. If I visit Tirano again which is very likely I definetely I will stay again in Antica Residenza.

The location was perfect, in a very quiet but central street. If you're planning to catch the Bernina Line train to St. Moritz, it's just a 10-minute walk to the train station. We arrived at a late hour on the first day, but the self check-in process was smooth and efficient. The room was clean, cosy, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Our host was incredible during the whole time, even preparing us their varied breakfast earlier on the day we needed to catch the first morning train.

Excellent quirky modern hotel in a lovely old building not far from the station after being on The Bernina Express which was an amazing journey over the Alpes. The room was very big and excellently fitted out with alot of specially made wooden furniture. The bathroom followed the same theme of the room and was also big, clean and modern. The hotel is just at the back of the square which has a few bars in it, nothing to loud, in this lovely little proper Italian town. We had an excellent continental breakfast with plenty of choice of everything you'd want. Staff were very good and helpful even phoning me when we were just getting there and guiding us to the door

The guesthouse is well located -- it's an easy 10 minute walk from the train stations in Tirano. Our room was clean, peaceful feeling, unusually spacious, and the beds were excellent. Breakfast was first rate, with meat, cheese, breakfast breads, yogurt, and other offerings available. A special thank you to Elena, who arranged for the rental of electric bikes for us to use on one of the days we were there. She also gave us suggestions on local restaurants, and we enjoyed our meals at the places she recommended. Definitely recommend this guesthouse!

A small matter, but the shower is a bit small.

We arrived at the property directly from our flight to Malpensa. On the website, the apartment looked beautiful, but when we arrived we found a much nicer and better place than we thought !! The property is lovely! The building is ancient and renovated with an authentic atmosphere. It is very close to the river and the square of the old town (where you should also park your car for the night). The room was great, clean, warm (a little small, but really didn't bother). Our hostess was wonderful! Was courteous and helped us with everything. She helped us a lot with the bureaucracy of the PCR test that we had to take before returning to our country. Without it, we would not have succeeded, without a doubt. We highly recommend the property, since it was so fun in the town and the area, we decided to stay for another night.

This hotel is excellent and conveniently located near the train station. You can easily walk from the station to the hotel following the host's directions. Trust me, it's the best way to roll your bags smoothly. The rooms are spacious and comfy, and the breakfast is just delightful. I have to give a special shout-out to the host, Elena. She's such a fun and friendly person. When we arrived after 6pm, she greeted us with a big smile and gave us the most amazing recommendations for restaurants and things to do in Tirano. The town may be small, but it makes up for it with its charm and the incredible kindness of the locals. We're already planning to come back for another visit. Can't wait!

Great location. 7 mins walk from the station. Near good restaurants and small local shops. Good size for a family with max 2 kids where kids have a separate bedroom. The bathroom was also properly modernized with all possible amenities. Breakfast was really good. The host, Elena, was welcoming and helpful. The cleaner comes daily to freshen up the place.

If I would have to nitpick, the main door cannot be locked from the outside when you leave the place. This means that anyone can enter and will have access to the bathroom. Both bedrooms can be locked from the outside though.

Everything is new and very clean. Interesting options of lighting alternatives. A tea kettle and a mini fridge. Excellent shower - good pressure, temperature. Pleasant bed linens. Good breakfast with local yogurt and many choices. Friendly staff.

Thin walls - we could hear our neighbors very well. in the middle of the night a loud noise woke us and we couldn’t get back to sleep. The bed was a bit too hard, but that’s a personal preference that’s hard to cater to. Coffee could have been better.

I really loved this place. It was about 10min walk from the train station but the walk to the place is really scenic especially when you cross the bridge and see the view of the river and the mountains. The room itself is huge and very cozy. It has a TV, mini fridge, a wardrobe, kettle and coffees so you can make your own. The shower and toilet was spacious, towels, toiletries and hair dryer was provided. They have a buffet style breakfast which I really loved. The lady that assisted me was very nice and helpful too. I'm very much satisfied with this one and definitely a good value for money.

We stayed one night after travelling on the Bernina Express. Our host was very kind, meeting us when we arrived after 6pm and also letting us choose some breakfast items as we were leaving before 6am the next day. The room was modern, quiet and comfortable, with a decent comfortable bed. We also enjoyed having aircon while we slept. The bathroom was very good and the shower had great water pressure. It was a 10min walk to the train station in the morning, so the location was pretty good.
