Hotel Giberti & Spa

Antonella and the rest of the reception staff were excellent, they went the extra mile to help us in any way they could. The room was a reasonable size and we had 3 single beds to accommodate 3 adults without one having to be on a sofa bed. They are able to provide a taxi service at a reasonable price and at very short notice so if you need a pick up to and from the airport I would recommend asking the hotel to arrange it for you.

We thought the water should be complimentary in the mini bar and there should be a bin in the room as well as the bathroom. There wasn't much storage for 3 people and we thought there could be some drawers.

I loved the lounge at the entrance, my room was beautiful and very clean. The shower was large enough so you could move around and weren’t constantly hitting the walls. Breakfast had a lovely variety of food, and the staff were very helpful.

The only thing I didn’t like in the bathroom was that there was no curtain or anything on the window, so I was worried people would be able to see me (even though houses were far enough away.) I wish there were more spa services… massage therapy, facials, etc., instead of just the sauna steam baths and showers. unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to try the spa service because I only stayed one night.

This specific hotel is one of the best I've stayed at. First of all, its staff is extremely polite and always ready to help and provide solutions. The room is spacious, and its cleanliness is on another level. Its location is ideal, conveniently close to the city center and the train station. While it might not have a restaurant, you can be served by excellent establishments in the area. I wholeheartedly recommend it

It is important to pay attention when you book the room to the fact of pets are welcomed, which is fairly mentioned at the description. It might not always be comfortable for the neighbors, with the dog barking, as an example. There might be a suggestion to make a variety for breakfast choice, however the food was of a good quality!

Location was great; it was convenient and quiet - away from the hustle and bustle of central tourist area, but only a few minutes walk away. It was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The staff were efficient, helpful, and polite.

None of the below items seriously interfered with the pleasure of out stay! I understand the need for the 1-key policy to reduce electricity waste, but I always find this very inconvenient. I wish there was an alternative. It was sweltering hot and I discovered on our last night that the central air conditioner was turned off. I could not call for help without waking up the children. I discovered in the morning that one of my grandchildren had opened a window and not secured it properly closed, and this turned the AC off. I had a sleepless night before a long journey. This could have been avoided by a small notice next to the window handle or by the AC controller, I appreciated the availability of breakfast at 6am but the breakfast, although adequate, was nothing to write home about.

Breakfast was very good..- you can other expresso or capuccino from hotel bar... Great !

The breakfast restaurant is too small. The tables are set VERY CLOSE to each other, the hotel quests do not adhere to epidemiological measures ( COVID19), they do not wear mask when they go for food, they take food without disposable gloves...

Great looking hotel, very friendly staff. All the furniture was new and the rooms were quite big. I announced the hotel we'll be arriving with an EV and when we arrived we found a reserved spot in the underground parking with our name on it and an EV charger. Very nice touch.

A bit on the expensive side but other than that, everything was great. A bit of a shame that they don't have their own a la carte restaurant in the hotel.

The hotel is located in proximity to the old town, with lots of restaurants, shops and sightseeing options. Very helpful staff. Room was very nice and bed was exceptionally comfortable. We were able to walk everywhere, including the Airlink bus to get to the airport (10 min walk, 6 euro, runs every 20 min vs 40 euro cab ride)

The bar. Unfortunately, like almost everywhere in Italy, bartender could not make a martini. Yes, a first world problem, but when we stayed there 4 years ago, the bartender just returned after 5 year contract in the US, so he was able to make a perfect one, and were hoping for the same! So we just went for the perfect Aperol Spritz!

Excellent location, not right in Historic center but a very easy walk to get there. Beautiful lobby, lovely room and bathroom. Room had a safe and a small frig. Very updated and clean. Front desk sold vouchers for the Hop On Hop Off bus right there, also provided map. Very good breakfast.

It was great, but did cost more than all of our other accomodations.

Fairly close to the historic centre (12-15 min walk). Good silent air conditioning in the rooms, friendly staff and helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Good parking availability.

Walk to centre at night a little dark in parts, solo female travellers may prefer a more central location. Breakfast a little basic, rooms would benefit with drawers
