Onomichi Kokusai Hotel

Friendly staff, looked after our bags for a few nights while we were away cycling. was very kind of them :) clean and comfortable. A little hidden ramen store right next to the nearby pachinko place was excellent. can leave bikes in parking downstairs.

Was in a less attractive/industrial area of town but still only just over 1km from the station and ferries. convenience store right next door which was handy.

There was no breakfast included at the hotel however there was a Lawson store next door. The staff's english is very limited but they were very helpful all the same,

The hotel is a little way from the centre of town but they do provide a courtesy bus that operates to the railway station. we never did work out how to book a return trip!

Shuttle service to train station, breakfast was nice.

The room was very very small. We don’t carry big luggage and i can not imagine how people with large and numerous bags would cope in this room. Also we were given a room right above the air handlers for the building and we heard it all night.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We cycled the Shiminami Kaido, and they allowed us to leave our luggage for the one night we were staying elsewhere whilst cycling.

The location was a bit of a walk to the part of town where we picked up our bikes (Giant shop), and from the centre of the town.

Welcoming staff, with a particular mention to the hospitable driver. Amenities are fine and the room is clean and larger than most of the price. Facilities are great; large TV in the room with access to multimedia.

Further away from the central area but I wouldn’t deduct too many points as they provide a shuttle.

Affordable and the room is clean with everything you need and that includes sleepwear and complimentary water. TV has YouTube and Netflix too. Has coin laundry but not like they’ll inform you upon checkin, I just notice it written in the elevator.

Around 16 mins walk from onomichi station but they have guest shuttle which you needed to book in advance.

Room was well equipped with everything we needed, all toiletries and nightwear provided as well as complimentary bottles of water. We stayed only one night before starting the Shimanami Kaido cycle, it was about a 30 min walk to the cycle shop in town to collect our bikes. Hotel is good value for the price.

There was no Western breakfast on offer.

Nice and clean hotel. Slightly remote from the main street, but this makes it quiet. Convenience store next door Close to the bike rental place if you ate there for the experience :)

To be honest..I think this is the best business hotel i have stayed in Japan. The front desk was good..the room was small but very cozy and I noticed all the equipment and facility in the room were of good quality and user friendly. Shuttle bus to onimichi station was a pleasant surprise.

Plenty of parking, and there is a shuttle to take people to the main train station. It's a bit out of the way from the tourist sites, but it's an easy drive or bike ride to those sites.

I needed a second pillow, which they gladly provided.
