Dormy Inn Hon-Hachinohe

1) really easy to drive from the expressway 2) multi story carpark with lift which was very quick and fast 3) love how they try to save the environment by providing amenities at the lobby and you take what you need 4) free flow apple juice and coffee at the lobby and not forgetting the night snack of ramen! 5) fantastic onsen, well arranged and clean. even has has free Yakult, ice cream for after your onsen. 6) lots of washing machine (foc) and dryers (needs coins) to use 7) the rooms are well thought through and organised for the traveler

BEST VALUE for MONEY. Very well located in the centre; walking distance to the food street. The room are bigger than other chains. Clean, quiet and well equipped. Bonus: an amazing Onsen with indoor and outdoor baths. Free ice-cream, Yakult and Soba noodles from 9.30pm. Free Laundry. Free Massage chairs.

They are making efforts to reduce waste like not changing the toilet rolls every day; proposing wooden toothbrush... they should go even further: reducing plastic waste and single use items, proposing to keep towels or not changing the bed sheets every day.

Free Ramen! Free Ice Cream! I love staying at this brand of hotels. Hon Hachinohe is an intersting location. if you are on your JR Pass be aware that the station is quite a long uphill trek away and only 1 train per hour back to Hachinohe fo rthe Shinkansen. You are better off getting a bus from the station. Location is good as it's in the middle of the busy part of town with loads of bars and places to eat as well as an arcade nearby. There is also a convience store around the corner. Be aware as well if you are heading to the Sunday morning markets you will need to take a taxi as there is limited PT to get there and back.

Walls are a bit thin so you can hear your neighbours movements. sizing of the slippers are a bit small in the room. But very little else to be critical of.

Public bath, free ice cream (both at 13/F), free ramen (2/F) and free apple juice (ground floor). So basically you don’t have to leave the hotel for food and drink. Lawson (convenience store) is just around the corner. Room is clean.

It’s 15-min walk distance from JR Hon Hachinohe Station (no elevator). If you have a big luggage with you, it could be a problem. There aren’t many trains running between JR Hon Hachinohe Station and JR Hachinohe Station (Shinkansen). (You can talk a bus to Hachinohe Station directly instead.

It's not luxurious but they just get a lot of things right. The baths are spacious and comfortable with free frozen treats to relax with afterwards. There are complimentary washing machines, which are really appreciated by travellers with many days on the road. There's late night ramen. Our corner room wasn’t big but it was well arranged. The windows open to let in a little fresh air. The location is in the heart of town right near bus routes. Some of the staff speak English and offered a lot of help.

The rooftop onsen of this hotel makes the visit worth it. staff is very nice, rooms are small but convenient and services are great. Best option for business hotel in Aomori prefecture.

It is a bit annoying that breakfast sometimes is full and when you try to book it during check-in, all places are taken so basically you cannot have breakfast at the hotel unless you book it when you do your reservation.

+ Excellent location, with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants - with most open fairly late too! (not common in Japan) + Rooms are practical and well equipped for the price Note: If you're here on Sunday Morning, wake up early and go to the Tatehana Wharf Market!

- Air Conditionner Unit was having trouble (it made loud noise for 10 mins every time I shut it off) - Not that simple to get there, though that's not the hotel's fault (trains / buses are sparse in Hachinohe in general)

Free manga area and snack service. Free coffee all the time. Onsen is small but enough. Bed is bigger than I imaged.

Not close to the main JR train station but close to some bus terminal. With luggage you have to use Taxi all the time either to JR or to Shinkansen.

The Hotel has Onsen and provide free soup noodle for supper. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Room size consider big and comfortable. There are many restaurants and convenient store around too.

Hotel is abit far from the train station. Need about 15mins walk to reach train station

A comfortable walk from station but ensure you have enough time to get back there. Very quiet despite being in the middle of a city area. Everything you need in room for a night's stay. Small but relaxing onsen. Lovely breakfast and a small tasty treat in fridge. Yum
