Futakotamagawa Excel Hotel Tokyu

Area was nice. Hotel was a little farther walk than expected from the station but still very convenient to other shops and restaurants. everything we needed was in the area. food at hotel was delicious.

going up to the lobby and then in another elevator down to the floors was an extra step but that would be the only thing. staff was very friendly and accommodating and helpful. hotel is beautiful.

I had a very comfortable stay in this lovely hotel! The room was nicely sized and so comfortable! The view of the tamagawa is soooo pleasant! The receptionists were all very helpful and friendly! The environment was quiet and peaceful!

It is bit far from some touristy spots but its a good opportunity to explore the neighbourhood which was hip and wonderful!

The staff were amazing and friendly the entire stay! Room service was exceptional at cleaning and tidying the place when needed. The facilities were convenient and always kept clean and tidy! Definitely would recommend it, I didn't try the public bath there but encourage you to do so :)

Nice location with easy access to Shibuya, Shinjuku and jiuyugaoka. Great neighborhood with lots of shops, restaurants and bookshops within easy walking distance.

The access to the hotel is a little bit troublesome. It is located on the 28-29th floor with the lobby on the 30th. The only access to your rooms in from the 30th floor lift meaning you have to go up to the 30th floor and then make your way down.

Beautiful view, walking distance to the train station, shopping center, restaurants, and park. You can see Mount Fuji from hotel restaurant. Breakfast was great.

Room is a lot smaller compared to the pictures shown.

Breakfast was good. I would have liked more explanation in English of the Japanese style food on offer. Staff knowing a bit more about the immediate area and it's attractions would be good. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Pillows were good too. The public bath was a bonus. I slept very well after soaking in it.

Super position not far from shibuyu by train or taxi. Variety of shops supermarket and restaurants nearby , view of river and Mt Fuji in distance Excellent Buffet breakfast very attentive staff particularly the Chef

Only thing I missed was an armchair in room

Breakfast was not the pre-COVID buffet style, but the teishoku style was very nice and presented well. Service was excellent.

The room with a river view was fine--just what I wanted for my wife's first time in Futakotamagawa--but lacked a work space and chair for a laptop. I had to make do with the little round table next to the bed.

Facilities were good such as sentou and high class atmosphere.

A bit robotic service and not as warm and friendly. Maybe because the area is swarming with Western expats. Something is just amiss. Also it was weird way to go up to reception then down back to the rooms.

Great selection of food to cater for everyone. The free flowing coffee was a special treat and bonus. The dining hall was a relaxed place to be while the staff were professional and discreet in doing their job. Very helpful at all times.
