Daiwa Roynet Hotel Mito

A nice quiet stay even though I was there on Halloween. I could hear slight hooting from down below but it was slight and only when I was at the window. My view was of the city towards the lake which is always a nice bonus. The hotel is in the buildings attached to the station so it's extremely convenient. Breakfast was a Japanese buffet in a izakaya that is repurposed for breakfast. Plenty of food and quite tasty.

The facilities were on the older side and could use refreshing but everything worked just fine. The izakaya is "charmingly rustic"? It's hard to describe without going.

Amazing location, right near the station. Clean and spacious rooms, quiet, so we could have a good rest. Very helpful and kind staff, they have located our rooms near each other as we requested. We loved the breakfast and quality of everything overall. Additionally, you can purchase extra amenities like hot eye mask, bath salt, face lotion etc. at the front desk.

I wish they had more vegan food options during the breakfast.

Great convenient location close to the station. Eating places close by. Room had good amenities, nice helpful staff and very clean We requested to room next to each other and that was fulfilled. I would stay here again.

Location was convenient, directly connected to Moto station.

Curtains and windows were dusty. Room was old but fairly well maintained, but still shows its age nonetheless.

The location is really nearby Mito station. The breakfast is also fine. The hotel stuff was also friendly and helpful.

The room is a bit outdated however it was clean. Just for one night to stay, it was really fine.

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station with plenty of good restaurants and cafes. This is a good place to stay if you're planning to enjoy plum blossom in February. They have a good option for eco-cleaning, when you can decide whether you need to clean your room or not, which is a nice option to use if you don't want anyone to enter your room especially during the pandemic. Big bathroom, big bed and good sound isolation which is rare for Japanese hotels. There was an earthquake during our stay with a magnitude of 7.1 points. The walls were creaking, the floor was moving, but nothing had fallen and the windows stayed undamaged. It was a terrifying experience. I guess this hotel is a pretty safe place to stay and survive through an earthquake.

The amenities were amazing, I love ume konbu cha and think it matches well Mito atmosfere. The room was spacious and the chair on the work table was really comfortable.

I have found this hotel chain to be very high level exceptional. The facilities are clean, the check in and check out procedures are very fast and simple, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the price is very reasonable. This hotel too was just right outside Mito station so extremely convenient.

The check-in and check-out process is very simple and fast. Clean space and most convenient location in Mito.

Weekdays can be a bit expensive. 10,000 yen for one person in a small room was my rate.

Good traditional breakfast. The hotel next to the main station - easy to travel. The city has a beautiful canal and park.
