Dormy Inn Miyazaki Natural Hot Spring

The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel offers complimentary drinks and snacks at the lobby. Though small, the onsen is still quite good. Location wise, it's a bit further away from the main train station. The parking is just next to the hotel. Parking fee is JPY950 and it allows you to go in and out unlimited.

Guests can only park the car at level 2 to 4 and the unfortunate thing is that there is no elevator. So if you have a heavy luggage (like me), you would have to walk up and down the stairs carrying the luggage. Alternatively, you may seek help from the hotel staff. Room size is a bit small especially if you have a big luggage like me, I find it challenging to put down my luggage.

Very new and modern hotel. It has an Onsen on the top floor if you are into that and as a result there is no bath in the room but a shower which I think is much better use of the space.

No complaints really. Just don’t follow Google maps to walk to the property, it takes you through dark side streets. Follow the main roads to go there. There was a nice mango pudding sweet in the fridge as a present. It was delicious but when I opened it, it squirted on my coat making a mess. Haha. Be careful when you open it.

Upon entering our spotless room, we were pleasantly surprised with a welcoming gift of sweets. The establishment went above and beyond by offering complimentary ramen from 9 PM to 11 PM, followed by probiotic drinks available until 1 AM. The onsen, meticulously maintained, provided a truly enjoyable and rejuvenating experience.

The curtains displayed noticeable yellow discoloration and could benefit from occasional cleaning. The location was a little was ok. Besides this there are no issues.

The Dormy Inn was comfortable, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy and there was free ramen late at night which was great! The onsen spa was lovely. Matching pyjama sets were great for going to the spa and late night ramen, and also very fun. Very close to restaurants and convenience stores all within walking distance.

You can’t use the onsen with tattoos. There is a sensor light that turns on in the room when you get up to go to the toilet, so you wake up other people in the room.

The parking was a pain. We did not realise that we had to park in a multistorey carpark that was not connected to the hotel. So we had to drag the luggages down the flight of stairs to get to the hotel. There was a sign at the hotel telling guests to unload the luggage before parking but it was a little too late by the time we noticed the sign. Would be good if the hotel can send information regarding the parking via booking.com prior to the stay.

Came here on a short business trip. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating! They helped me route my trip to bus stations and times. The buffet breakfast was delicious! There were many options including Western and Japanese, especially for non-meat eaters. The best parts of the hotel are the location and the onsens. About a 15-minute walk from the station and directly across from the bus station, it is very easy to travel towards the coast or explore the city's central area. The onsen and sauna were amazing! There are 3 different types of onsens: hot, cold, and outdoor. If you are a foreigner and have tattoos, ask the staff if it's okay for you to cover up. Depending on the size and how many you have, they will most likely allow you to use the facilities. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a free half bowl of ramen around 9:30-11:30 PM and free cover from 3:00-5:00 PM. I could not have imagined a better stay for my short time in Miyazaki! If you are in the area, I highly recommend it. I hope to make it back here in the near future.

Well located with ample parking on-site and a spa/onsen….they also had shoyu ramen “service” from 21:30 to 23:00….very clean and quite a nice onsen open overnight. Very helpful staff who recommended restaurants to us for dinner but since we travelled during new years most restaurants were closed or full!!

Small rooms for a family of three - it this was expected….however the onsen got too crowded and there was hardly space for people to sit in early in the morning

This was our second stay at a Dormy Inn and there was near perfect consistency between the two hotels. The rooms were just the right size and they were modern and clean. There was easy parking for our rental car. The hotel was located in a shopping restaurant area and was close enough to the river to go for a run in the morning. The hot baths were of good size so that they never felt crowded for the size of the hotel. I also enjoyed the snacks they put out. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of Western and Japanese dishes. We will look for more Dormy Inns when we travel around Japan. This hotel has great value for dollar.

A wide range of variety of food is offered by the hotel. The food is delicious, i think it is a very good start of the day.

The hotel is a bit old, and the carpark is not user friendly at all, there is no connecting corridor between the hotel and the car park. Please remember to drop off the luggage at the lobby before parking the car at the parking complex next to the hotel.

We love the location (right on city center) and love all the extras that Dormy Inn has everywhere such as Onsen, Yakult in the morning, Free Ramen at night and full amenities includes pajamas.

I think they could recommend a better room for 3 adults and 1 kid to us, since the space is quite small for our families.
