Kuretake Inn Nagoya Hisayaodori

The room was comfortable. The hotel included buffet breakfast with a variety of food options. They also had happy hour however we didn't access this during our stay. I didn't check out the onsen however I felt very safe that the women's onsen could only be access via pass code provided at time of check in

There was minimal signage outside the hotel so took us a little while to find it. The fan in the bathroom and room had a lot of dust accumulated so not sure how frequently those get cleaned - thankfully we were only stayed for one night otherwise my allergies wouldve have become so unbearable from the dust

I was coming to Nagoya for Nagoya Women’s Marathon so my main requirement for hotel was location so I could easily get to the race venue on a race day. This hotel was the closest I could find and it turned out to be a good option. It is located not far from train station (30mins walk) but there is also metro station nearby (less than 3 mins walk) so it is easy to get to anywhere in the city. Nagoya castle is also within walking distance. The hotel itself offers what others do - dining area, vending machine and microwave on the first floor (and they have happy hour for those who fancy a glass of alcohol); and a bed/desk/bathtub in the room.

No complaints for this one. I was totally satisfied with my stay.

1. new bathrobe and towel are provided daily, even more than I needed!! 2. the public bath and sauna are unexpectedly good 3. the self ice machine is a great bonus, esp after having public bath and sauna!!! 4. the happy hour is also a bonus, even though I didn't have time on it 5. the staff were very helpful, kind and polite, esp the staff who were responsible for cleaning up in the morning, they were very quite and professional

Location - close to a subway station and to some places worth visiting such as Nagoya Castle, Mirai Tower, Oasis21, Hisayaodori Park Staff - All especially the front desk people are very polite and helpful. They find ways to address queries and requests as much as they can.

We appreciate the breakfast buffet but would have enjoyed it more if the menu varies from day to day. We stayed for 3 nights and menu was the same all throughout our stay.

Location is wonderful and just a short walk to the Mirai Tower and busy downtown area with lots of shopping and food. The staff were kind and spoke English, and breakfast buffet was included. The buffet offered both Western and Japanese food, and it was filling and good enough considering the budget price of the hotel.

The elevator takes a long time during the breakfast rush and checkout times, but perhaps this was because we went around the new year. The public bath was also overcrowded when I tried to go, and the hours are a bit short (only evenings), so I ended up just going back to my room to soak in the bathroom tub.

I like that there is breakfast so I didn't need to go out and find a restaurant to eat early in the morning. It is also walking distance from Nagoya Castle and subway. Very accessible. The staff are very helpful too! I didn't try the public bath but was able to sample the drinks at happy hour (it is free!).

Spacious room for price - comfortable bed and very clean. Excellent breakfast and complementary happy hour drink. Short distance to subway and reasonable distance to Nagoya Station. Laundry facility attached to onsen turned out to be a treat - had a bath while waiting for the washing cycle to finish.

Was a little hard to locate exactly without outside signage and Apple Maps directing to car park.

Located right in the centre of Nagoya. Everything from shopping to Nagoya Castle was pretty much within walkable distances. The included buffet was good.

It’s a bit old fashioned in terms of setup. The dining area is a bit small so it gets very crowded during peak hours. Also, the hotel should put better signs pf where the hotel is(especially for non japanese crowds).

The location of the property is excellent. It is near Sakae area which has so many shops, malls, and restaurants nearby. It is only around 100-200m away from the Central Park. The hotel has public bath if you wanna try it
