Tennen Onsen Taho-no-Yu Dormy Inn Niigata

The location was pretty convenient, a walkable distance from Niigata station. Various food places and convenience stores are also nearby. There's free food after using the public bath.

The room size is really small and it's difficult to even open two luggages in there.

Handsome Onsen ! I spent many hours everyday during 4 days . I will Côme back for it !!! (Maybe just reduce 2 degré for the water 😅😅). The localisation is nice and close station. Breakfast is nice , depend of the staff you have .

Pillow of room are small and very very hard = back and neck pain . Not super clean . Tv not working well. And light of the corridor need to much time for turn off.

It is a typical nice stay with Dormy Inn, the room is just right, hotel is not new but definitely well maintained and everything is clean, the public bath is good and to combat the very cold weather, they offer items like outer jacket for the yukata, blanket, soaks...etc per request - that's a very nice touch.

Nice location - within a 7 min walk from Niigata station. Nice amenities and little extras in the room and the hotel itself - for instance, toiletries in the lobby and the onsen area, mini icecream after onsen, nice ramen in the evening, etc. - lovely surprises. The breakfast is great - with local dishes, such as noppei, included. That's a cool touch.

The room was a bit cramped and felt dark and the onsen area is kind of small - but that's just the nature of hotels in urban areas in Japan.

The hot spring which is a very good treat after a long day outdoors. The firm mattress and the 2 in 1 pillow which gives you a choice of hard or soft.

Not exactly near from Niigata Station. Perhaps due to the ongoing construction thus making it seem further.

Staff were great, room was larger than average in Japan, but the best part was the onsen Huge bathhouse opened overnight until 10am so you can access it in the evening, at the dead of night or after you wake up. Feel free to grab a popsicle (night) or a yakult (morning) after your bath as it is complimentary.

I have no complaints at all

We stayed here two nights before our trip to Sado Island. We had a double room with in-room bathroom and it was small but not tiny. There is a free onsen and free noodles at night. Tattoos are not allowed in the onsen but if you have a small one it might be ok. You can also add breakfast if you’d like. Dormy Inn is a chain in Japan and this was just like other Dormy Inns we’ve stayed. Clean, basic rooms good for a couple but best for a quick stay when you just need a place to sleep while traveling.

It is a bit far from the station, but not too long a walk and all flat. If you’re driving the parking lot is very convenient right on the ground floor at a cost of 1,000 JPY per day. Just give your license plate number when checking in.

- the room was clean and tidy - came with amenities and pajamas - had a hot spring bath. - free noodles provided as a late night snack, free ice bars and drinks provided also (1 per person) - In a reasonably nice quiet part of Niigata city. - Delicious breakfast buffet with an amazing range of food.

- I came in for free noodles 5mins before they were finishing up and got a token for free noodles but didn't get them. But the waitress was very apologetic and I was given free breakfast the next day. - The women's bath is right by the eating area and even if the bath has a code for entry but I still felt a little uncomfortable. - It says there is a rotenburo (outdoor bath) but it was a small tub that only fits 1 person.

Good breakfast & location near old residence area I liked.

The main street foot path was the worst I have seen My baggage wheel broke. Too people to approach from streets at back from rail centre.
