Citadines Namba Osaka

The hotel is beautiful and visually appealing. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. Impressed with the size of the room which is really comfortable for us to move around despite our numerous shopping bags and 2 big luggages. Love the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner which uses natural ingredients and essential oils. All other basic amenities are provided too. Were pleasantly surprised with the guest lounge which was located on the same floor as our room. Guest lounge comes with a nice spacious kitchen, seating areas, ice machine, drinking water and coffee machine. The laundry room was easily accessible and next to the children playroom with a ball pit area. Location was great, near to all the walking streets and shopping malls. Away from the main crowd of Dotombori. Overall a really great hotel to stay and hope all guests will take care of the hotel facilities. Will definitely stay here when we return.

It took us sometime to find the hotel as there were too many exits. Might be a challenge if you travel by train and have many baggage. Best to check with hotel staff on best way to reach the hotel. And Namba itself has a few Namba related stations which makes it even more confusing. But once you figure it out its easy. Notheless still a great hotel to stay.

I recommend this hotel & would stay again. It is well located within walking distance to the restaurants & shops of Dontonbori, Shinsaibashi, Shinsekai, AmericaMura & Namba. The Nankai rapid express train links KIX direct to Namba station. The hotel fit out is new & the design well considered. The building is an old art deco office & many beautiful period features are retained. Staff are friendly.

-the location is really good, just 10 mins from namba -lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby -staff speak english, willing to let me store my luggage before check in time -the room is well cleaned every day -spacious for japan standards, best room i have ever had and i have been to japan for 7 times already!! -i booked it before the border was open so the price was very valuable as i noticed that it went up twice afterwards

-originally breakfast was included but because of covid it got cancelled. would appreciate if the hotel was offering us something else

Great experience staying at the Citadines, exceeding our expectations. As part of a two-week trip across Japan, this was our cheapest stay of the trip but the quality of the room and level of service was fantastic. We stayed in the One-Bedroom Twin, and it felt like a large apartment or luxury hotel suite. It's incredible value and very comfortable. Location is also great, within short walking distance of Dotonbori and great food. The staff at reception were incredibly helpful with arranging our luggage forwarding to Tokyo. Thank you for an awesome stay!

The location is convenient (around 10-15 min walk to the main train station), also its very close to the famous shinbashi and dotonbori areas, staff were a great help and tried their best to accommodate our requests, I also loved the fact their fitness center is open 24 hr which many hotels there do not do.

The bathroom is a bit small but it had everything we needed.

Practically everything, the hotel was staffed by wonderful people and the rooms and spacious and nice. The location is outstanding near shopping, food and grocery. The room was big and comfortable and all facilities were fantastic.

The wifi could not be connected in certain parts of the room which I stayed but it was ok as I can use the Osaka Free Wifi.

waht your see is what you get. it's pretty close everything to be honest. a few convenient store near by and cafes. also some nice restaurants for dine in. the place itself was clean and comfortable and the staff was pretty accommodating and he was pretty nice!

The most friendly personal we met so far during our Japan trip. And since everyone was friendly this was really top notch. So kind and nice! Location is awesome as you can reach Shinsekai and Dotonburi easily by foot. So you can go out at night and don't need Public transports. AmericaMura is also not too far. There was really good coffee available 24/7 in the residents lounge. Room seemed a bit older, but still clean and - especially for Japan - really spacious.

The breakfast was ok. Now don't get me wrong, it was all you need and it was far from bad, but it didn't live up to the standard we experienced so far in other hotels within Japan.

This hotel was in the most perfect location. A short walk to all the wonderful food at the Dontonbori. This hotel is a must stay, we loved everything about our stay. The breakfast was also great.

Citadines Namba Osaka Hotel was so baby/family friendly. This was why I selected this hotel over others. A crib (for a fee) can be reserved for use as well as a baby bath basin (no charge). Also, there is a children's playroom on the 5th floor. If you get the one bedroom double family room, there will be a washer in the room to do daily laundry, if needed. Also, the dryers on the 5th floor could be used for 100¥ for 30 minutes. The 5th floor has the playroom, laundry and a water/ice refill station. The hotel offers daily housekeeping, if none is needed you can just put the do not disturb sign on the door. Also, the housekeeping team is great, as my room was always so tidy upon returning from a long day of sightseeing. Service and front desk was friendly and efficient. Bottom floor has a community food hall which is open till 10 pm and has an array of food, drink and dessert options. As for the ambience, the decor is artistic and tasteful and there are remnants of a preserved historical site known as the "Takashimaya East Building". The closest train stations are either Namba Station (about a 10 minutes walk) or Nippombashi Station (about a 7 minute walk), both had elevator access.

If you have a bit of luggages, you may have some difficulty rolling your luggage from the train station to the hotel. Perhaps, you may want to use a taxi for the convenience to and from the station (esp. with luggages).
