Hotel WBF Namba Motomachi

Location of the hotel is good with walkable distance to OCAT where you can take a bus to kansai airport. you can also walk to nipponbashi for anime street (approx 15mins) and to shinsaibashi (approx 20mins) and 2 metro stations. convenient to take a train to USJ as well (approx 35~45mins) with a 24hr supermart nearby. The facilities of the hotel were thoughtful too, with free ice dispenser, free microwave service, washer and dryer with small fee. Staff was very helpful when you asked them for directions and coin exchange for laundry. Although the room was a bit on the small side, I rested well every night as it was quiet. I enjoyed my stay in this hotel thanks to the staff!

Staffs are fantastic! Very helpful and assisted my partner and I with booking for our late night taxi ride to Shin-Osaka station. They kept our luggage safe from check out until late. Location is not the best coming from Shin-Osaka station but it is about 15mins walk to Dotonbori.

Location is not that ideal from Shin-Osaka station, since we caught the JR shinkansen. A little bit far from a subway especially with two big luggages, or maybe it just felt far because it was raining. The bedroom with two single bed we booked is too small for our luggages. We can only open one at a time, there was a small chair in the room that I think is not needed to create a bit more space.

The room was very clean and was always maintained for me while I was away. The staff were really helpful and accommodating to my needs. The hotel was in a very good location as well and was easily walk-able to such places like Dōtonbori. Although it was a in a side road and the road looked a bit weird during night time, it was still very safe place to be in and I definitely recommend it.

The surrounding area especially at night. It had a lot of dodgy businesses around. Also the building did not look like much from the outside exterior but inside its very clean and accomodating.

I stayed here for three nights when I visited Osaka in August 2020. The hotel is located in the Namba area, placing it near many attractions and dining options. The lobby was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The room had everything I needed and was very clean. Overall, I found the hotel experience excellent, especially when considering its affordability.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the Namba train station (both the subway and JR, among others) and is a little difficult to find without a map.

Great location. 5-8 mins Namba station and located around many good eateries. It is located near tha main station but also in a quiet street with a 24 hour AEON supermarket 5 mins walk away.

The was only 2 washing machines and dryers for the whole hotel so do plan for some buffer when washing your clothes.

The hotel is 8mins walk from JR Namba station, which is accessible via JR pass for tourists. The busy Dotonburi and Shinsaibashi shopping and food district is also within walking distance. Good spread of complimentary breakfast. We left our luggage at the reception and head to Nara, and pleasantly surprised that they were already in our room when we are back at night.

Bed was nicely comfortable and the coin laundry was better in terms of value compared to other similar hotels I've been to, where you can wash & dry a heavy load for under 1,000 yen.

Gotta say the room size was too small, even for a solo traveler with multiple pieces of luggage. Also, the bathroom is slightly elevated, so there's a step up & down you keep crossing when using the toilet / powder room / shower, which can get kinda annoying.

Quiet and clean hotel. Room is not small as I tought and twin bed is bigger than I tought. Also impressive with big bathtub. Staffs are so nice and helpful. Need keycard to access each floor when use elevator at night time.

A bit far from subway (about 600m. from the nearest). But acceptable with this price. Refrigerator cut electricity when remove keycard. So my ice-cream melt 🫠

Very comfortable, good breakfast

One member of staff on the front desk was incredibly rude to myself and a guest waiting in line behind me. She asked us to step aside to allow a Japanese customer, who’d arrived later than us, to be served first. This was also the most expensive stay on our trip.

The atmosphere was nice and they were accommodating. The room was very nice. I appreciate that they were able to watch my bags until check in time and after checkout, as my flight was in the late afternoon.

Breakfast was an additional cost, which I was not aware of until the morning of. When checking in they mentioned the breakfast location and time, but didn't mention it as and additional cost.
