Furano Natulux Hotel

The staff were exceptional and very helpful in all requests or questions that were asked. I was skiing so obviously it’s not ski in ski out but The Natulux is located 150m from the Bus Stop and train station. The bus is approximately 2.9Km from the gondola and the hotel will give you a return bus ticket to use. The hotel is located in the heart of town and there is 20plus restaurants to choose from.

Breakfast was a Japanese or Western set menu, as you could imagine after 14 days this starts getting a bit less than desirable. The hotel could definitely do with a buffet breakfast!! The hotel lounge area came across as a last minute thought during construction.

The hotel staff enriched our stay in Furano. We spoke minimal Japanese, and the hotel staff went above our expectations by assisting us to make reservations for taxis and restaurants. They were very pleasant, friendly, and flexible. The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hot tub in the women's spa is nice. The bus stop and train station are very close to the hotel, as are several restaurants.

The menu options are limited at the hotel restaurant, however the food was quite good, especially for the price. I disliked the sporadic restaurant closures and the 3-day advance reservation requirement for dinners.

We absolutely loved Natalux--the staff went above and beyond to help us plan our excursions in Furano, they provide free tickets to the shuttles which depart across the street from the hotel, the breakfasts were delicious and we loved the location near all the shops and restaurants in town. Would definitely recommend staying at Natalux compared to the resorts at the mountain which are very isolated and far from everything. They also have a lovely little onsen which was fantastic at the end of a long ski day. Natalux was amazing!

Overall, transportation to and from Furano and within the town is tricky (the shuttles are rarely on time, they aren't very frequent and taxis are unreliable), but the staff at Natalux went above and beyond to make sure we could get where we needed to go each day, even providing extra shuttle tickets for us to use. So the transport in general in Furano was not great, but Natalux made it better!

The staff were always friendly and it had a welcoming feeling on arrival. The shower and bath in the room was wonderful after skiing and good access for eating out elsewhere. Pre bookings required as January is busy with travellers. The hotel is very close to the local train station but noise wasn't an issue.

The room temperature was hot and it was hard to cool down. They didn't have a snow resort bus shuttle however the local bus to the field was convenient and they gave you a ticket each day if you needed.

Attention to improving indoor air quality (HEPAs by elevator, on timers) Excellent cleaning staff / attentive and efficient Near train station Access to using microwave and washing machine Views. We’ve stayed here since 2017 on three holidays before and it’s reliable.

Travelers going against the hotel request to wear a mask, and show at the very least courtesy in their behaviour regarding that request & their general health measures. Observed these situations many times in our two week stay unfortunately. The onsen could be made more “natural” as it’s enclosed / not outside (example - even a small water feature like some hotels have could soften the interior. It’s small for the hotel size)

Excellent location, the room is a little small but very clean and functional. The air conditioning was too warm in summer and the temperature cannot be adjusted lower than the desired temperature. The breakfast was either Japanese or western, both were good. Restaurant was not open for dinner during our stay and we were told pre-booking one week ahead was required. We had dinner in a nearby hotel La Vista which was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Air conditioning was too warm. The basin was outside the bathroom and obstructed the passage. No wardrobe.

Friendly staff and they understand what a customer exactly needs after checking in during 5pm. Instead of just passing you brochures of restaurants with tons of cluttering information, they passed you a A4 paper showing a simple map which clearly list down the recommended ones with important info (e.g category of restaurants by opening hours, location, telephone no). Saved my time to google one by one.

Furniture seems old. Food was ok but do note that you can only choose between japanese or western set meal. It is not the typical buffet style type. Good for those who wake up late. At least you are ensure a proper meal even at the last 30 minutes before breakfast opening hours, instead of having to fear there is no food left for buffet type breakfast.

Location is v good -convenient. Takes few minutes to walk from the Furano Station to the hotel. The shop street is vv near the hotel- Furano Mache and the little shops ,supermarkets n restaurants are all around the hotel n within walking distance. Location also not far from the Flower farms with their lovely summer blooms. Staff members are very polite and helpful. Breakfast is fine offering a variety choice of Japanese and Western breakfast. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

It was a comfortable and pleasant stay and we enjoyed the town which is quiet n nice. All was good.

During my recent visit to Furano, Japan, I had the pleasure of experiencing the fantastic offerings of a traditional Japanese breakfast and indulging in the serene atmosphere of a public bath. The location, conveniently situated next to Furano Metro, added to the overall convenience and ease of my stay. Upon arrival, the staff warmly greeted me, who exuded the traditional Japanese hospitality that the country is renowned for. They were attentive, polite, and eager to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the exquisite Japanese breakfast served at the accommodation. The breakfast showcased a delightful array of flavours and textures, meticulously prepared with attention to detail. From the moment I laid eyes on the beautifully arranged tray of dishes, I knew I was in for a treat.

However, it was evident that the furniture in the room had seen better days. While it still served its purpose, the aged appearance and wear and tear were noticeable. The chairs and tables showed signs of use, with scuffs and scratches. The upholstery on the sofa and chairs appeared faded and worn, reflecting the passage of time. Although the furniture did not affect the functionality of the room, it did somewhat detract from the overall aesthetic appeal. On a positive note, the cleanliness of the room was commendable. The housekeeping staff ensured that the room was well-maintained, with fresh linens, tidy surfaces, and a clean bathroom. The beds were comfortable, providing a good night's sleep after a day of exploring Furano's attractions.

Staff are very helpful. Made Telephone calls to help me with bus booking. Cleaning was flexible and very good. Washing machines and dryers available. Vending machines available, hotel convenient to good food outlets.

The set breakfast was always presented well, however, the plate was quite cold and the warm eggs and sausages and or bacon was always cold when it was time to eat it! The hotel has no shuttle bus but uses the local service which, from a morning skiing point of view has a huge gap between 0810 then 1112. The restaurant, dining room was not readily available.
