Drop Inn TOTTORI

One of my best hostel experiences this trip! The staff was very kind and helpful! Check in was smooth, a free drink was included. The bed was spacious and had a tv inside!! I didn't need or use it, but having it was cool. There was a small shelf to put your things! Hangers and small cabinet to lock in your valuables at your bed! Both powerstation and usb ports available too. Slippers and towels were provided! The female floor was clean and had all essentials and more! Was super happy about the cotton pads and make up remover. Very close to the station! The cafe had good music and cosy atmosphere. Everyone was using it and there was a kitchen available. Easy access to cold and boiling water! Overall I loved my stay! If I go to tottori again I would love to stay here again! Thank you so much.

Location, size of the capsules, cleanliness very high, staff friendly and spoke good english

The car parking is nearby, but there is car park opposite that’s seemed empty a lot of the time. You pay 800¥ to park from 5pm to 10am and you must move the car out between those hours. Check in is from 4pm. So if you arrive and park up, you must pay extra in addition to the overnight parking. I stayed 2 nights and was expected to be out of the car park from 10-5pm. Not very convenient at all. In the end parking was expensive.

Staying at Drop Inn Tottori was a wonderful experience, staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had booked beds on the women's only floor, and it was spacious, clean and well equipped. Each individual bunk included 2 lockers, hangers, different plugs and a TV (which we didn't use). A little extra service were the free amenities and drink ticket for one of their cocktails, which tasted amazing. I would definitely stay there again. Nothing to complain, very beautiful accommodation.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The bed was extremely spacious and private with a high ceiling. I felt safe because it was a women’s only floor. Good amount of mirrors and sinks outside the bedroom, they also provided amenities like face wash. Very cheap, right next to the station. Easy bus ride to the sand dune!

Only two showers and two toilets for the whole floor, but it wasn’t too busy. A mirror in the bed booth would be very helpful.

The staff is very helpful and will keep your luggage before and after booking. The lounge area is very nice place to relax. There is also cafe that serves Korean food when it open. It right next to the Train Station and Bus Terminal. The luggage lockers was nice and big with a lock key.

Some of the other guests don't follow the Inn's rules when staff is not around and they can be rude. There was no place to sort clothes from luggage and have to use walkway. I was placed in the coldest corner away from heating.

The location is so convenient. The staff were super friendly and the capsules were insanely spacious and comfy. There is a lot of height within the capsule and storage space for a suitcase and other stuff. The bed was comfy and very quiet. The bathrooms were clean, with free towels and a free drink for the first night

I only stayed for 1 night and that did not give me enough time to see the Sand Dunes. Stay 2 nights if you want to see the dunes

i arrived after reception hours and they left me a keycard. did the checkin in the morning with no problem. i was in a female 6 bed room completely alone so it was nice and quiet. the bed was alright but i can sleep everywhere haha. my capsule was spacious, had lots of space to put my stuff on. everything was clean and tidy, it has some wear and tear but very well maintained. i liked that the women's washroom had makeup removing products available. overall very content and happy. will come back if i drop in tottori again ;D

This capsule hotel is very close to Tottori station, about a five minute walk. You can easily get a bus to the sand dunes. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby, so it is easy to get dinner or breakfast. The capsules were very spacious, they are tall enough to stand up in and come with a TV, hangers for your clothes and a lockable box. There is a lounge and cafe on the first floor. The cafe closes around 8, but you can use the lounge 24 hours.

The front desk closes at 8, so you should check-in before that time. The cafe opens a bit late, so you can't get breakfast there, but you can do to Tottori station, there are many places there.

Very Clean and Nice, Close to Tottori Station, Staff was very good better than at some major hotels in other cities that I stayed in, 2 free drinks included with reservation, near many conbini restaurants and grocery stores, lots of good tourist information, very good English, Felt very modern.

Beds were a bit smaller than some other hostels and capsule hotels I stayed in.

Very nice Staff, clean, spacious capsules with TV and enough places to plug your devices in, also a box to lock your stuff in the capsule, beds where quite comfortable as well and the price is definitely worth it!

It got a bit hot in the capsules at night, the hostel also recommends to live the blindes open about 10cm, I would definitely follow that recommendation, also the capsules are not sound proof, so If someone in the capsule around you is snorring you can hear it, but not to the point that you won't be able to sleep in my opinion
