Everything was in order

It was difficult to find a room. In the beginning, you had to take an elevator, then walk down a long corridor and then go down. It is impossible to remember from the first time..

We stayed for 3 nights. The location is very good. Close to train and bus station, market and Maxima. The hotel is very clean. The room was beautiful, warm, sockets were next to the bed and also by the table. There is a TV on the wall and there is also a fridge. The staff is really very friendly and helpful. There is also a coffee machine in the corridor with a wide selection of hot drinks and the price is 1 euro. The breakfast is very tasty and plentiful, the coffee is also very good. Breakfast is from Monday to Friday from 7 to 10 and from Saturday to Sunday from 8 to 11. Our room was on the 4th floor, everything was quiet. The beds were very comfortable, the room and the bathroom were very beautiful, a quiet hotel. Acropolis can be reached from bus station no. 53. We will visit again when we go to Vilnius!!!

I stayed at the City Gate Hotel 6 nights. The hotel is just opposite to the entrance to the magnificent Gate of Dawn, a short walk on the right handside, and next to it is a very good restaurant as well. Walking straight through the Gate of Dawn, leads you to city center, and you bypass churches and many interesting buildings, so the location is absolutely ideal for a good exploration of the city. Not to mention that the hotel is also very close to the market and shops and bars. On the left handside, very short walk, there is a bus stop, with bus 88 going to Vilnius Airport. Amazing breakfast; I usually skip it, but could not here, way too tasty!The staff is very helpful and kind, special mention for VLADAS, also very kind and helpful were GEORGIUS, ANA, VIKTORIA. Thanks for a great stay. If I return to Vilnius, will definitely choose the same place for stay.

Location was a key reason for my choosing City Gate: the train from the airport (very convenient and cheap) goes to the main station (for day trips to Kaunas, Trakai, Paneriai, etc.), which is a short walk (10 mins.) from the hotel. The bus station (for Lux Express to Riga, etc.) is across from the train station. City Gate is also very near the gorgeous Gates of Dawn and Didžioji gatvė/Pilies gatvė in one direction and the Halle Market in the other -- so, there are places to eat and drink all around. I can highly recommend the Bazilijonai Restaurant next door, for example. There is a grocery store around the corner. (Note that there are no retail alcohol sales after 8 p.m. in Lithuania.) My room, like the hotel overall, was clean, airy, and pleasant. Staff members were friendly but unobtrusive. There were ample choices at breakfast. (If there is a group staying at the hotel, avoid the first half hour or so of the breakfast service, and you will have more peace and quiet.)

Nothing. You get so much for the price at this hotel, that it is hard to find anything to complain about!

No traffic noise in the room, a fridge, a desk and a good place to put the open suitcase. The 24/7 reception. with umbrellas to loan, and snacks to buy. The breakfast. The sandwich that was given to me early the Sunday I checked out early. AC in the room, was not needed as it was cooler and it was not needed. Location good for exploring the old town, yet perfect for arrival on foot from train and bus station. Also on the same side as the airport, close to bus stop for airport shuttle. Bolt-ride is only 15 minutes to airport,

The bed was squeaky, a bit uncomfortable. The window was not possible to close completely, so outside noise from neighbors came in. No laundry service from Friday to Saturday.

The hotel is just in the entrance of the old town, very close to the train station. Walking distance to major sightings, the staff is friendly and provide support. The WIFI worked well, the room was clean, with TV and refrigerator. The breakfast was simple but sufficient with the price you pay for the hotel. Supermarkets are close to this location, as well as bust stops.

The walls between the rooms are not sound proof enough, would hear the noise from the neighboring rooms. The refrigerator has a sound when turned on, it is an issue at night when one needs to sleep.

The room was actually really really quiet, which not many hotels can provide. Air condition worked perfectly. The bath dryed fast. The staff was very nice and helpful. Parking lot and supermarket right around the corner.

Cleanliness could be improved (chair and one sheet were not clean). Only one power outlet for two beds. Ironing room could be improved with a stand and a new sheet. The curtains are no match for the sun.

Perfect location, within minutes of walking from the center and all "must see" places. Nice inexpensive restaurant in the next building, very convenient if you come late. Reception open 24 h, all people very friendly and helpful Excellent breakfast, specifically must praise the quality of coffee!

The shower cabin was leaking and pools of water on the floor. Warned reception, but this was not possible to mendle during the stay. Obviously, they were unaware of the leakage.

Good location, just 10 minutes walking distance from the railway station. No noise in the room. Good breakfast, plenty of options to choose from. 2 Coffee machines, so no lines to get espresso in the morning. Air conditioner and the heater worked good, the rooms temperature was on demand.

Beds could be a little more comfy. Otherwise, all was great.

Central location, next to a nice restaurant Bazilijonai where you can pop out for a well priced meal. Bus and train station as well as historical center are all within walking distance. Tasty breakfast with good choices was glad to see pancakes on the menu and local preserve. Fridge in the room. Extra thank you to the amazing staff member who returned our watch we left behind!

No safe in the room. Not the most modern decorations but that is a subjective topic.
