Location was good, close to Lebuh Armenian area. Staff friendly and personable. Price was right. Suitable as a place to shower and sleep but not hang out in.

Room is utterly tiny and the bed hard as a rock. Shower curtain does nothing to prevent water getting all over the bathroom floor. There's a nightclub opposite that goes till late, so a bit of doof-doof can be heard.

The room even though quite small, was really comfortable. The toilet was clean as well - except that the water took some time to drain after taking a shower. But it was a pleasant experience, would definitely come back for another stay.

The receptionist wasn’t very hospitable, unfortunately. Perhaps it was almost midnight. And the fact that it took some time for the water to drain.

Excellent location in Georgetown close to street art and sights in the town. The road is busy but it is still relatively quiet. The room is very modern and decorated well. It was very clean and felt recently refurbed. The bed was very comfortable we slept well. There is a good hot shower, air con, TV, water. It was comfortable, cool and quiet. The hotel staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Great value for money, would reccomend the stay!

The room wasn't cleaned in our 4 days, we have to request an extra toilet roll. It would be good for it to be cleaned at least every 2 days to change towels and bins. The room size was compact, we would like more storage space to hang or store clothes and belongings. A small fridge would be useful to keep cold drinks. The lift is only for 2 people and sometimes out of service.

The location was perfect, just 2 blocks away from the famed Street Art murals of Penang We booked a Quad room (2 queen beds), while it was a bit of a squeeze for 4 adults if you have luggage. The main door is secure with your room keys also the main door keys BYOB for water refill. Fridge is available. Microwave (but ensure you only use it for Halal food!). Free flow of instant coffee and teabag.

The lift can only accomodate 2 persons at a time and there were no signages of it being repaired The shower curtain was off size, and ended up getting the entire bathroom wet everytime you shower. The "Smoking" area was just right outside the main door and the smell permeates inside the airconditioned lobby.

Room R1 was very comfortable, nicely decorated, and had a nice view. Most attractions in Georgetown were easy to walk to from B Street. The street the hotel is on is nice and quiet at night. It was great being able to refill water downstairs as well.

We were not able to connect to the wifi from R1. The network provided did not show up so we had to connect to the lobby wifi which was spotty from all the way on the top level. On the first morning staff opened our door at 7am, luckily we had the chain on but it was a bit startling. Additionally, a staff member was watching TikTok videos very loudly in the laundry area around 10 pm which we could hear clearly from our room.

Most things were great and I miss it

Good location, parking always available for my motorbike, quiet, clean, friendly staff etc. The location is central but still a good bit away from the heavy traffic on the Prangin and Weld avenues. My room had a window that could be opened.

No access to a place to dry laundry in the sun f ex a roof top. This is a common minus with most hotels nowadays, so not unique to B Street but worth mentioning if the owners wish to find ideas for improvement. If i plan to stay more than just a few days ( i come to Penang to study martial art and i sweat a lot! ) it is nice to be able to do some of my laundry myself and not have to hang-dry wet stuff in the room. I never asked though, so perhaps it could have been sorted out.

This was my second time staying at the B Street Hotel, and it was just as cozy as the first time staying in Penang. The entire staff was welcoming and friendly, always smiling and eager to help. The location was right near all the popular sights and many restaurants and cafes, definitely a prime location. I ended up booking another night here at a later date when returning to Penang from Langkawi, and I'll stay here again for future visits.

It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room, but they have one you can use in the lobby. Some English channels would be nice for the TV.

Thank you for the Front Office Staff, Ms Azza. She's really helpfull with the Penang Map. Ie: where to go, what number of bus to be ride on. Nice hotel, nearby the Armenian Street (10minutes walking) Rapid Bus Terminal Weld > 15 minutes walk Padang Kota > 15 minutes walk Easy to get Grab, cheaper ride due to short distance to tourist places (3km ⬇️) ie: Blue Mansion Grab to Airport > Around RM 20 - RM 30 Recomanded for family also Have nearby 24hours mart (10minutes walk - next to Armenian Street)

Nothing to complain.

Azza, the reception staff, she stood out. She was super approachable, keen to assist. All smiles. We only saw 2 staffs during our stay and Azza was stark contrast. The hotel's location was good, in the heart of street art. And within walking distance of all the tourist spots.

The shower floor of our room had clogged drain and that made the water go down super slow. But the toilet was quite alright. The other room we took had clogged sink. But again, the other areas are fine. The lady cleaner made us rush to leave our room when it was only 12pm and we were on our way out with our luggage. We understand that she could be rushing to clean for the next customer but being rude when we were already leaving at exactly 12pm wasn't a good way to end the stay.
