Montecristo Villas at Quivira Los Cabos -Vacation Rentals

The staff was amazing, Sakini, Luis, went far beyond our expectations. The food in the 3 restaurants on property was very good but over priced.

The Villa it's self was awesome with it's pool and hot tub, but the BBQ grill didn't heat up properly, the broiler in the oven did't work, the faucet in one of the bedrooms ran like it was on all the time, and when someone came to fix it he. shut off all our hot water and had to come back again much later.Cabinet doors were falling off. The hot water on the master bath tub wouldn't come on, but they sent someone to repair it. All in all the Villas are great, just poorly maintained.

Dishwasher broken, 2 shower doors, bedroom door were ajar and did not close, and light fixtures around pool were in need of repair.

The size and room configurations are great for a family.

They are not being maintained as they should be. Refrigerator door shelves missing, the switch on the table lamp in the master didn’t function and wouldn’t allow the light to stay lit. The sofa in the upstairs living room is quite worn. Cushions on the patio table chairs need replacing. They are so thin that you don’t sit up high enough. There were no sheer drapes in the living room and the ones in the bedroom didn’t match, one was at least 4 inches shorter than the other.

Overall, our stay at the Montecristo Villas was an incredible experience. The villa was exceptionally nice, spacious, and well-maintained. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. The individuals involved in our stay (concierge, suite service, housekeeping, maintenance) were all helpful, friendly, and prompt to respond to our requests and questions.

Really our only complaint during our stay was that the WiFi never worked properly during our entire stay. Our devices would connect to the WiFi, but we never could get internet service.

We have been members at Sunset Beach since 2008 and have had the opportunity to go to the Montecristo but the timing was not right. We took our family there this year and had a fantastic time. Our reservations were missing out on all Sunset Beach has to offer but the shuttle service and drivers were excellent (timely and little to minimal wait times). It was great to have the Sunset Beach feel and then be able to go back to our villa to relax.

We loved it all.

I love the privacy and private swimming pool. The views are amazing and the staff is attentive.

I’ve been going here for years and this villa was looking in need of maintenance. The swimming pool was missing tiles and had algae in the grout lines,  the cabinets were missing knobs, many electrical outlets didn’t work, there were allot of insects and lizards.

no floating chairs for the pool. I think the thermostat on the hot tub was malfunctioning (way hotter than it was registering). need more plastic glasses for pool area.

It was our first time to the Montecrsto and we arrived late at night after a long travel day. We found that there welcome package wasn't very helpful, most of this guests are owners and I think it was assumed that we were also an owner and that left us underutilizing the property for the first 3 days of our trip until we understood what we actually had access to.

I didn't like the welcome package because it didn't give us any information about what we had access to. This is a beautiful property that has many amazing things to offer and that needs to be highlighted in a welcome package.
