Hotel Fenix

Large comfortable rooms, very comfy beds & pillows, good AC. Bathroom was fine. Central location but no noise from the street. Easy to store bags there after check out while waiting for our bus. 1pm checkout was useful!

They cleaned our room before we checked out so we needed to find new towels & soap for a shower before we left.

Location location location It was super super clean Very modern but yet traditional touches The shower pressure was excellent Ac unit kept room in excellent condition The courtesy call was very courteous

The pillows were flat, felt old. No ice machine or access to ice. No complementary water bottle for guest.

Excellent value.helpful staff..the shower tile could have used a good scrubbin in the corners.but other than that. I really.liked it. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Soft sheet linen and a pillow topper on the bed.so its great location

Lowest price in Tapachula (even cheaper when booked via mobile phone), most central, has all essentials for the price paid (hot water, aircon, clean toilets, Internet), friendly and helpful staff.

Bedding covers look scary at first sight: ugly colors and unattractive (I wondered if they were clean). They simply "appear" old. Hotel could change them and rooms will be perfect. Not a negative rating as they seem to be clean. Just look ugly colors!

One of those places that's way bigger on the inside, which is spacious, high-ceilinged and immaculately cared for.by pleasant and dedicated staff. It's given good reviews for a reason. Well-appointed rooms with everything you need and really comfy beds.

Very clean, the front desk is very nice Neptali is helpful. Great plants in the gardens. In the center of town . you can catch a van that takes you to the beach in front.. The restaurant is convenient and tasty. Great a/C.

Everything was great.. I enjoyed my stay.

The staff in this hotel is beyond amazing. The parking is secure and 247. The facilities are clean beds comfy enough. Not sure I could ask for more. You're not going to get any work done on their wifi but that’s more of an issue with this whole part of the country.

Hotel Fenix is excellent in every respect.

There was a loud, probably religious meeting just across the wall from my room from 9 to 10 on Thursday night. I don't like to hear preachers pontificate under any circumstances, particularly when I can't escape it. Staff should locate such meetings at a reasonable distance from guest rooms. Importantly, this was a very unusual glitch in Fenix service.

Hotel Fenix is a bit basic, but nearly perfect for my needs. The room is pretty, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the air conditioning is great, very important in torrid Tapachula. The staff are very sweet people. Spotlessly clean. The connected restaurant is good. The location is as central as you can get for Tapachula. There are several really great restaurants nearby. Really nothing bad to say about the Hotel Fenix, though it is a little over my budget.

I can't think of anything that could be better,

The staff is wonderful. The front desk is very helpful. The garden is impressive. Everything is very clean.

Room # 19 is strange. The bed is too wide for the room. If I sat at the edge of the bed. I was 2 feet from the bathroom. The only lamp was in the middle of the room. There are no nightstand lamps. I would have to get out of bed to turn off the light.
