Great location, right in downtown Xalapa with plenty of food options and activities nearby. The hotel is kept clean and tidy and makes you feel at home. The hotel itself is just beautiful with a great colonial layout. Most beautiful gardens ever with great care and attention. The rooms are kept clean and are just perfect if you travel with the family They were very keen in helping us to find space to park our car and also giving us advices and recommendations of the city.

Nothing at all. I’m case you travel with an elderly you light consider there’s a few steps in and out the room. Otherwise you will certainly have a great experience…!

Darling little boutique hotel in a convenient area of town. Staff were really accommodating, since I had messed up on my booking dates. They were able to put me in a lovely little room with tons of atmosphere right on the garden. The shower was amazing – plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Parking was on the street but right outside the door, and the front desk staff could watch it via the security camera

it was rainy and a bit chilly when I visited in early September, and the tile floors were cold under foot. I don’t think it would feel very comfortable in the middle of winter, and I didn’t see any way to heat the room. But there was an extra blanket, which I didn’t need, so at least you’d sleep warm.

Colonial architecture, lovely garden, breakfast services, helpful staff , with all facilities working well . Hot water, wifi etc...quiet , excellent mattress and linens

The location whilst quiet was a bit out of the way and the sidewalk was elevated and narrow with a drop off. Lots of traffic and hard to.cross the street. It's the nature of a busy city built on hills but not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. I was fine but had to be careful especially at night. No fault of the hotel which I would recommend.

Cozy place with a very nice ambience. Several small buildings around a precious garden courtyard. Rustic Xalapa style room with an orange tree outside the window. Good bed and desk. Coffee machine with actual Veracruz coffee in the room.

Most of the time there was no hot water, especially in the morning, which was a little frustrating. The breakfast was a little monotonous, with few options. The Enchiladas were good, but after a few days I wanted something else.

Wonderful staff. I like that it's so close to everything, but on a block with less traffic than the main streets, so it's quieter. Great bed, once I declined a couple of others. The mattresses vary from room to room. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Safe-water dispensers on each floor, so you can fill your own room pitcher and water bottles. Good breakfast available on site. I have stayed several places in Xalapa and this was by far the best I could find anywhere in this price range.

The mattress and the smaller size the first room I had, but they cheerfully moved me to a room the next day which had a mattress that was a better fit for my back and a little more room for me to spread out and sort all my travel stuff..

The staff were all terrific and helpful. The place is spotlessly clean. When the bed was too hard for me, the next morning they moved me to another room with a better, softer bed. If you're noise sensitive, get one of the rooms that faces on the beautiful courtyard. It was great, though all the rooms are pretty quiet for a busy city. I looked at several places in Xalapa and this is the best for this modest price, for sure. Good breakfast and coffee in their cafe. And good showers with plenty of hot water.

Some of the beds are hard like wood. But I found a good one in a different room. There's no focused light to read by in bed or at the desk.

This hotel was recommended in Lonely Planet and did not disappoint! The architecture of the building was beautiful and gardens surrounded all of the rooms. The courtyard was quiet and a great place to enjoy a book and some local coffee. The breakfasts served were outstanding: fresh, filling, and a good price! (For us, it was included in the reservation and was well worth it.) The rooms were clean, had sufficient storage, and were comfortable. We hit major traffic getting to the hotel and did not arrive in Xalapa until late, but we wrote to the hotel through the Booking app and they stayed up for us. I'd definitely go again!

The location is great, super close to a lot of restaurants and cafes, the design of the hotel is nice and peaceful, the colors and rooms are nice for the price we paid. The room contains TV, hair dryer, towels, clean sheets, hand and body soap,coffee, clean water, and a disk for work. The team working there is nice, and the open area they have is great and super calm. They have a small kitchen for food but I didn’t tried the food there but I saw families having breakfast there and I heard them saying the food is good. If I came again to Xalapa, of course would like to stay here again.

Superb accomodation in a very comfortable and lovely hotel with a colonial style. Rooms and facilities are clean and staff is kind and available for queries. We booked a suite with breakfast included and it was a very complete meal. Absolutely recommended for a value-for-money accomodation with a great location right at the city centre. Much warmer than staying in a hotel! We also loved the sustainable practice of offering water at the lobby and corridors, instead of putting water bottles in every room/suite as most hotels do.

There is no parking available, however, this isn't very much of a problem as there are plenty of parking lots available out in the street, right outside the building.

This is an excellent hotel. Immaculately clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and the place is really well run. Great location, close to the centre, but quiet at night. Great garden to sit in and tasty breakfast on site. Our best hotel in 6 weeks of travelling in Mexico and a great price. We stayed a week!
