VANCII Hotel

The bed was super comfy. The Wifi was great. The bathroom was large and our view was lovely. The breakfast is ok and served on a lovely roof terrace. The roof terrace is the best thing about the hotel. Everything could have been amazing but....

Our room was right next to the elevator on the 4th floor and the door is not sound proofed in any way. People talking before the elevator or walking up the stairs to the roof terrace were very audible in the room and is not great for light sleepers (people are moving around late and very early, so you'll want to bring earplugs).

Our stay at Vancii Hotel in Chefchaouan was nothing short of fantastic. The staff, notably Brahim and Zakaria, were incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, and the modern design added to the overall comfortable and stylish ambiance. Our room was equipped with all the essentials, including a brand-new TV and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay. An added delight was the beautiful terrace on the rooftop, offering a breathtaking view of Chefchaouen city.

While Vancii Hotel in Essouira has some notable strengths, we encountered a few issues during our stay that need to be addressed. The elevator was slow, which became quite inconvenient during our stay. Additionally, we experienced issues with the hot water supply, which was sparse and intermittent, leading to discomfort. The restaurant's focus on Asian cuisine seemed to cater more to Asian tourists, which limited the variety of options for other guests. Lastly, we noticed that the cleanliness of the sofas on the rooftop terrace could be improved. Addressing these issues would undoubtedly enhance the overall guest experience at Vancii Hotel.

5 star hotel! Perfectly situated overlooking the Kasbah, mountains, square and Spanish mosque! The rooms and bathrooms are incredible- roomy and smartly designed! Parking is available right there at the hotel and we felt safe with Ahmed looking after the car. The terrace is spectacular! Next time we will plan to stay another night just to enjoy more time on the terrace. Breakfast on the terrace was incredible- thick honey, amazing cheese of the region and so many delicious things to choose from! If you leave the hotel and turn right, there are 2 ATMS located within 3 minutes walking distance. We had to use them as the medina is full of exquisite items for sale at reasonable prices!

Absolutely everything exceeded my expectations! This hotel is your best choice, because the value for money is great, and the quality service you get is a 5* hotel level. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a long trip to Chefchaouene, and were greeted with smiles, jokes, welcome drink and concierge carrying the luggage. The receptionist has also shown the room and the facilities. Not to mention we had a free upgrade to a room with the balcony, which was highly appreciated! Staff was at all times willing to help and initiative in their approach to ensure we enjoy the stay. The breakfast is another thing that surprised me - it was served to us (based on the choices made), felt premium. The view was incredible, the room was modern and clean, designed really nicely with ceiling to floor windows; pillows were so far the best I’ve ever slept on and bathroom felt really luxurious with a nice Moroccan styling. Upon early check out we were provided with take away breakfast including coffee and the staff ensured we would have a taxi (local price!) on time. Location wise hotel is 10 mins away from the bus station by car, walking distance from anywhere else you’d like to go.

Choosing this hotel was the best decision we had made on our trip to Morocco. Loved everything about it. Definitely the best view Chefchaouen can offer. Rooms were clean, big and the bed was comfortable. And breakfast was amazing, which was served on the rooftop terrace with a panoramic view of the city. Also the view from our room was unbeatable. The staffs were always very welcoming and helping in any way they can. Our room was also upgraded without any charge. Highly highly recommended.

The location is great, the hotel staff are friendly. The breakfast is fantastic. Very clean hotel. It look new. This is not the 1st time to visit Chefchaouen, but I am glad to see the city is developing, new hotels, and resturants....This city deserve to be a world class due to its numerous attractions...

There was no refrigerator in the room. The weather in Chefchaouen in the summer could turn to be hot 🔥 at anytime, I hope they consider putting refrigerators in the hotel rooms.

I loved everything about this hotel, especially a warm welcome and hospitality of the hosts!! Mohammed is an amazing person to have a chat with and I found his advice on restaurants and getting around the town very helpful. Also the hotel manager Alan was extremely friendly and made sure that all requests are taken care of and guests feel comfortable and happy. Hotel is conveniently located just next to Kasbah, so it’s very easy to find it. All shops and restaurants are just a few steps away. Property is new and nicely decorated, there is a gorgeous rooftop terrace with lots of flowers and beautiful views. Breakfast is served on the terrace, but they also have a dining space inside, where I believe dinners are served. Breakfast was filling and with a good variety (Moroccan pancakes were yummy). My room was spacious and very comfy, super clean and fresh, I also appreciated that there are big bottles of shampoo, soap and shower gel instead of the small disposable bottles (think it’s more sustainable). Overall, was a great experience and I’d recommend Vancii to everyone.

Nothing, everything was perfect

the property is very modern and clean and the staff are absolutely wonderful. ever single one of them. super friendly and welcoming and even though we got there at midnight they guided us to the property as we got lost. we felt wonderfully taken care of with genuine warmth. the location is astounding. Right next to the Medina and safe. we even got parking right next to the hotel for 20Dh per night.

Everything was perfect.

The breakfast was amazing - so much variety and really tasty. Not to mention it is served on the roof terrace with an amazing view of the city. The rooms themselves are super nice as well, very big beds and nice, hot showers.

A very high standard. Spotless clean. The staff was professional. Had a room with a view over the mountain and let me tell you - plan your trip here during the full moon, you won't regret.

The room door closes dangerously fast. Very dangerous as it can snap fingers. Can't imagine what it would do to a child. Speaking of room 609 to be exact. Please change it!!
