Hotel Jay Suites

Responsive owner Mr Pramod prior to arrival and during stay even when he was away! All were well settled! We booked 2 rooms for 6 nights and Mr Pramod gave us bonus late check out since we have night flight. His male staff at reception also very thoughtful. Location is quieter compare to other at Thamel area, which is good for resting. Easy walking access to Asan, Durbar Square &Thamel upper. Rooms are clean, hot shower, cool aircon, good air circulation and breakfast. Namaste Dhanya Bad.

Spacious room, well furnished: two armchairs, a coffee table, an armchair, a large console, drawers, a closable wardrobe, space for everything. Many power outlets distributed, even in the bathroom, suction fan in the bathroom. Comfy beds, Light and warm duvets. Daily linen change, all necessary lights with switches in logical places. AC with working and adjustable heating... All simple but functional. Perfect maintenance

The bathroom is a bit compact and you have to use some precautions not to flood it during the shower. The elevator had some problems and you don't always go to the requested floor... You have to take it philosophically, but it is little compared to all that is positive

The location is super central in Thamel. The roof terras has a great view over Kathmandu and you can have breakfast here. The rooms are of good size and beds comfortable. The staff is very friendly. Tip for activity: search for the ‘Free walking tour’ of Shiva (this is tip based)

- There was no running water for a couple of hours (but that can happen in Nepal :)) - The staff promised to provide breakfast on the day we needed to take an early bus. We confirmed 6:00 but after 20 minutes there was still no one there and we needed to leave to the bus station.. - Their services (e.g. bus and laundry) are overpriced

Very hospitable staff.. very spacious room. Helped us plan our itinerary and book further flights for pokhra and everest flight (cheaper than online prices). Decent flood. 24/7 hot water. provided us extras like iron etc on request. Replaced our one meal upon request due to taste.

local taxi prices are cheaper than hotel prices. But that is okay since hotel prices are anyway a little higher.

The service was really good and the front desk was really helping, attentive and customer friendly

The bedsheet were cleaned but really old and stained, bathroom pretty old however very hot shower. The breakfast was great but the choice really limited.

everything was excellent, they provided the great hospitality, rooms were very quiet, clean and the comfortable and spacious too. we got the best way of hospitality and all the staffs were excellent and well behaved. we had excellent experiences staying and highly recommend to stay at this property!

Awesome in all respects. Very well located close to Thamel, clean rooms, good food, and most of all, outstanding hospitality. Pramod and his staff have a service mentality that is unmatched and they go the extra mile to make sure you're happy with the facilities. Highly recommended if you're looking for accommodation near the Thamel area.

the room was very spacious and the wifi was very fast. the owners and managers were very gracious. they helped us arrange our transport from nagarkot with a free side trip to bakhtapur. great location tucked right in the heart of thamel but also in a quiet neighborhood

The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the customer service was indeed very good.

The recommendations for sightseeing weren't very well informed and the breakfast options were very limited.

We stayed around 6 nights here and enjoyed the high standing of this hotel. Good quality price ratio. Room are very clean and the shower is the best of Katmandu. Staff is very kind and helpful. I recommanded, specialy after trekking if you need comfort and clean room.
