The Chedi Muscat

I like everything. I'd like to thank MANAR from the reception , she is the only one that makes a difference and create a welcoming atmosphere. I also would like to thank NASSER from the concierge desk for everything. The omani employees are so professionalism and friendly.

I would like to bring to your attention a recurring issue that has been causing me some frustration during my recent visits to the hotel. I have noticed that the hotel staff continuously ask me whether I am an in-house guest or a visitor each time I interact with them ( I am Arabian and wearing hijab) , While I understand the importance of ensuring security and guest identification, the frequent inquiries about my status have started to feel repetitive and somewhat intrusive. It gives the impression that my presence is being questioned repeatedly, which is beginning to affect my overall experience at the hotel.

The whole Facility is amazing and very well Maintained

we were not allowes to gave iftar the restaurant due to " no shorts policy" which we were not informed aware of , we went to the restaurant i was wearing a short and a polo short and running shoes funnt part one guy told me im not allowed in bcs shorts are not allowed taking into consideration that the hotel is locTed on the beach and i was not wearing a swiming short , to make it short the stay was good but please educate your staff on how to talk to guests. one more thing we had to stay outside bcs they lady on the restaurant reservation mentionned that its fully booked taking into consideration there was 5+ empty tables and we had to ask to be relocated inside bcs it was hot and Humid

rooms need an update, dinner buffet was expensive and far from goos

the facilities and the staff. impressive efforts by all to keep the place up to scratch the duty manager Ms Kassi (?) from Lithuania particularly helpful and also Essam, the head concierge and the gentleman in charge of food and beverage i have never seen such good care taken of the grounds in an hotel

food a little disappointing and lacked variety breakfast rather dull and severe shortage of choice in the variety of breads available eating and drinking in the hotel is extremely expensive and not necessarily good value for money

Everything is stunning. The architecture is in beautiful, modern Arabian style, with gorgeous gardens and facilities. Service and food were impeccable, and they let us have a late checkout due to a late flight. Whilst the overall hotel is definitely high end and focused on adults, the area we stayed in was very child friendly.

We stayed in a Serai Room which felt a bit small and basic for the price. I wish we’d spent a little more as the slightly bigger rooms are more value for money. The only other thing is the use of plastic bottles for water and shower gel, I’d expect a hotel of this quality to use something more sustainable. But very minor things in an otherwise fantastic stay!

Upon arrival in The chedi immerse yourself in the quiet luxury of Oman. Great decoration & lifestyle of the premises, not overwhelmingly invading the subtle atmosphere of the country. An impeccable welcoming service is omnipresent in all the facilities on the grounds of the property, pampering guests at all occasions. Luxurious breakfast buffet & a la Carte. Great pools, with 3 different locations, according to the sun presence and service offered, around a luxurious garden. Great SPA and Fitness facilities.

Nothing to dislike in this property. The costs of Food & Beverage on premises are quite high, but it is quite in line with the country standards & costs of living, in similar properties.

Beautiful hotel, breakfast was exceptional, very friendly staff

The lady who greeted us was the only issue I had with the stay, she was not very welcoming and overcharged our deposit, this problem was resolved however she did not explain or apologise why this happened after we had clearly signed for the correct amount initially. We decided to pay at property however she was very focused on this rather than welcoming us like the other staff did. At checkout reception tried to charge us again for the stay, we had already paid on arrival, it was not communicated well. We had to ask for the deposit to be released. This was the only issue as all the other staff were very professional

Probably the most amazing hotel we ever stayed at. We got an room upgrade on arrival and were even surprised with a cake the next day (because of our anniversay). The breakfast was exeptionally good. The beds were extremely comfortable. The whole hotel complex was beautiful and very tasteful. Since our flight was very late at night, we were able to extend the check-out, which was very nice! All in all, we had the best time and hope we can come back one day.

Location, chauffeur driven pick up at airport, club room, grounds, different pools especially the lounge pool, the club lounge, amazing spa and fitness center. The Beach Restaurant was very good however all food outlets were good. All the staff were extremely polite and helpful. The silence/peacefulness and hardly any children at all, bliss!

Slight disappointment with the buffet breakfast, had and seen better buffets to be honest. The in room bath towels and pool towels were old and not very soft. The club lounge drinks time was great however the tea time was disappointing. The wine and champagne list per glass was very disappointing and rather surprised for such a hotel. We live in Dubai escaped to Muscat thinking it would be less humid unfortunately even more humid which was a shame as none of the pool areas provide umbrellas which was surprising also.

I recently stayed at The Chedi Muscat what a gem! The service was impeccable I was absolutely amazed by the level of attention to details and the hospitality I experienced. The staff are amazing! The Chedi Pool chefs and attendants Pandian Ugo and the rest, the front desk Husam Hani and Sheryl so professional and kind, the housekeeping staff, and main restaurant from the manager Steve to all the staff Schola Chibs Mita were very accommodating, polite and are so friendly. All the staff are super attentive and they make sure that you have everything you need for a comfortable luxurious stay. The rooms are clean, spacious and modern, and the food and breakfast was absolutely delicious! The pool area and beachfront is perfect for a relaxing day or evening, and the gym facilities and spa are top-notch. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at The Chedi Muscat and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a magical stay in Oman.
