Scent of Green Papaya

Great resort, room was clean, large, with the terrace. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Bar/restaurant has great service, food is tasty. Location is on the quit place, not far away from the town/beach (10minutes walking).

I have no negative comments to the hotel. Only I had neighbors who played very loud music my last day of the stay-but it is not hotel’s problem.

the place was very clean, and they got 2 pools that our kids enjoyed everyday,, all staffs were very helpful and lovely and always there to help and never forget to greet us everyday., they also got a generator in case of power cut, which we experienced when we were there.. its a bit far from alona but they have a free shuttle and they gave us a contact number to get a tuktuk whenever we need one.. i will definitely stay here again if we come back to bohol., their restaurant food were nice and reasonably priced as well as their alcoholic drinks

the emergency light did not turned on during a power cut at around 4am which is still dark and i have kids and my husband need to go out to ask for them to open generator,

This is our best accommodation in the Philippines so far. Our room was spacious and it had all the commodities you would need: TV, safe, surfaces to put your luggage and clothes, ceiling fan and AC, bedside tables with wall plugs next to it. They give you 2 water bottles at the beginning of your stay, but they also provide a hot and cold water refilling station at the restaurant. The pool was clean and well maintained. They had good shower pressure and the temperature control worked. Breakfast was good and they had multiple options.

No real complaints, we are happy with our stay. This was not bothersome, but a small improvement opportunity would be to have a place to put your soap in the shower (instead of having to put it on the floor).

Hourly shuttle to Alona beach was an easy way to circumvent the far location. The hotel has a very nice pool (two pools) and rooms, definitely beyond expectations. The hotel staff were very welcoming and very helpful with advice and accommodating our needs.

Mosquitoes are definitely a big problem in the resort and surrounding areas. The rooms were well maintained, but not always timely restocked, we were missing toilet paper, drinkable water, and a cover sheet on one of the beds. But staff accommodated for this very quickly.

This place is really nice. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and tidy and also the pools were really great. We really enjoyed our stay here. Its a 15 min walk to the beach, which was great to get your daily steps in. And if you do not want to walk, there is a bus that will take you to the beach. Would recommend this place 100%!

A few days in the water stopped coming out of the bathrooms sink faucet. It was not a big deal and if we understood correctly, we were not the only ones having a problem with water in the room.

Perfect in-hotel service and island trips for very reasonable price. Large room with all the amenities a 3*** hotel should have. Comfty bed and nice bed linen. Large balcony with plenty of privacy. 2 nice pools, comfty sun beds. Tasty breakfast. Unlimited drinking water. Brand new vehicle that takes the guests to Alona beach. Special thanks to Angel the manager who treats the guests as her own beloved kids.

Bumpy road to the property, the taxi driver refused to drive to the hotel doors, therefore my husband had to carry our 50 kg luggage. Also, it is not 450 m to the beach as said in the description of the hotel, but about 1,2 km

Very well maintained, sizable property with a beautiful pool - out of place, in a good way, near the end of an unpaved, narrow neighborhood street. Rooms were clean and a good size. We enjoyed being a bit of a distance from the main beach (Alona) since it gets a bit hectic. Very easy to relax.

We had a pool-facing room on the ground floor so we had to have the curtains closed at all times since it was very easy for people sitting around the pool to see inside to our bed area. Some kind of window tinting for these rooms would be ideal.

The rooms had a good size, equipped with AC and the bed was comfortable. The pool was very nice, as well as the relaxing areas. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Big thank you to kuia Mike, he made our experience much better!

The breakfast was a bit average, despite having some different options to choose from. The rooms were extremely humid, all our clothes were constantly damp. The bathroom didn’t have a window, so it would make the room even more humid. Not a lot of storage (wardrobe etc)

We loved all in this wonderful hotel. We felt so welcomed in this great place. Impeccable service with high standards, as if we were in 5 star hotel. Special thanks to reception and restaurant team - you are the best! And thank you for helping with our numerous luggage. The swimming pool was amazing, my kids didn’t want to get out of it. The rooms were fresh and had everything to feel comfortable. The ambiance was fantastic. I highly recommend this place for a great stay

This is a delightful little resort. It’s quiet and rather intimate. The rooms are great! Lots of PowerPoints with fast and reliable wi fi and HD cable TV. Food is pretty good. My room on the 1st floor had a private stairs and balcony which I really liked. There is a free hourly shuttle to Alona Beach.

There was something actually nothing to do with the resort itself. The road/track leading up to the place is long, narrow, bumpy and unlit. It’s really very bad especially after it’s been raining.
