Location good near parks for walking , near train station Lodz Kaliska as well for onward journey. Distance from main attractions fine for me if you need to there are buses and trains.
On entering the room it smells stale I think it is the carpets ok with windows open.

It was my second stay at the Mazowiecki. I love the huge, quiet rooms, the friendly staff and the dated but well-maintained décor. I will definitely stay there again next time.
Both mattresses in my room were too soft.

Nothing wrong with this two star hotel. A good room for a reasonable price. And I liked the thick and firm pillow.
Curtains are always a big issue. I like them to keep the light out in the morning. The curtains are a bit thin.

Highly recommend staying here, rooms are spacious, warm and clean. Had a kettle and a fridge. Staff is friendly. We stayed overnight, and enjoyed it. The place has a good vibe in it's way and 90's style.
Bed's might be too soft for people with back problems.
