Turówka Hotel & Spa

The hotel is only a few hundred meters to the Salt Mine and city centre yet the location is very quiet. Also there is a train station you can get a very cheap train to Cracow and get there in 20 min. The staff is very polite and helpful. The use the pool, spa is included in the price of rooms. You can book additional treatments. On the plus side you have a restaurant working until 10 pm and a separate bar/cafe until 11 pm.

Spa was ok however some things were not working (in the pool); Breakfast however, at this price, was a buffet style breakfast but it was pricey. yet, I could not really find anything to eat apart from a piece of cheese, bread and eggs. Tomatoes were in season yet they chose to use the most disgusting and cheap supermarket tomatoes you expect to find in winter I've ever tried. The 'pancakes (American version) were a day old and there was no running honey for them (no maple sirup either). On the plus side the bread and rolls were fresh and you had a coffee machine. I understand 'no waste' policy but too much food resulted thinking: leftovers.

This has been my favourite hotel that I have ever stayed in! Upon arrival, the parking was clear and easy. The reception staff were so lovely and welcoming and had read our special requests as they had prepared a handwritten note and pieces of chocolate cake as it was our honeymoon. They all spoke great English and couldn't do more for us! Within 5 minutes of staying here, we arranged to add another day onto our stay as we loved it so much. The spa was clean and provided us with gowns and towels. Breakfast was very nice with a good range of food. We had dinner in the hotel every night, it was incredibly well priced and was yummy, restaurant staff were also polite and helpful. The hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the salt mines and about 25 minutes into the centre of Krakow by taxi.

The breakfast was great, supertasty! We enjoyed much the pool and jacuzzi (I am not sure but I think jacuzzi was with sault) and off course the sauna with beatiful sault cave/mine (it's used like a rest room, where you breathe sault and enjoy relaxing music). We used the service of massage in the hotel. It was very pleasant and relaxing and the prices are fair enough!

One night the air conditioning didn't work and we couldn't sleep because of heat. When we opened the window, we heard the traffic from the road. I suggest for people to get the room in the middle of the building, because on one side there are cars and on the other side a railway for train. So if you want to enjoy the singing of the birds in the morning, it's quite difficult, if you are in the corner room. Also we had troubles with blinds in our room, they did not work properly.

Great location opposite the beautiful park with the lake, near from Salt mines (10 min walk) and easy to the center of Kraków by train (20 min). Huge beautiful territory. The hotel itself is very charming and clean but a little bit old. Delicious food at the restaurant. Fantastic spa facilities - pool (enough big to swim), sauna and salt cave - which is very convenient to get into from your room putting on your cozy bathrobes provided by the hotel.

The restaurant service. Spa, pool runs from 8am, wish it was earlier. There was an unpleasant moment when checking in. The receptionist was not friendly at all. But we didn't see him afterwards. The rest of the staff were great.

The room was very spacious and quiet. The food in the restaurant was tasty, I highly recommend. Espresso in the cafe was great. The pool could be bigger - but right after its opening it was empty and totally great for leisure swimming

Everything was great except for tiny things. There was no coffee maker in the room (which was announced) - instead there were two packs if instant coffee. And room service was not working all the time and the cost was 20 zl per order - so better go to the restaurant and spend the money on cocktails (those are great) :)

This is a traditional, historic hotel in a good location in Wielickza, close to the Salt Mines and the town. The pool and jacuzzi were fantastic and we used them both afternoons we were there. The staff was lovely and the price was excellent. We found staying here for a couple of nights before we headed into Krakow a relaxing alternative when seeing the Salt Mines.

Rooms and whole hotel are nice, clean and comfortable. Pool and spa are ok even though quite small.

Based on the reviews I expected better restaurant (was not bad but also nothing extraordinary). Also the promised coffee and tea service on the room was kind of a joke - two instant coffees and two tea bags with no possibility to restock. Wifi was a bit slow.

The hotel was exceptional. Clean, tidy, helpful staff. Well located near the train station. Close to the famous Wieliczka Salt Mines. Lovely breakfast. Pool and spa facilities fantastic. We loved learning about the history of the hotel.

The hotel itself is very charming, cozy and was very clean. Breakfast was incredible-fresh and a wide variety well beyond what I have had in other 5 star resorts. The staff were also incredible. Very kind, professional, just overall quite excellent.

The staff are nice. The breakfast was tasty, although no vegan options were marked, one could pick some fruits and veggies. The room was also ok and the pool and spa areas were a nice addition. Good for a short stay when visiting the salt mine.

I believe the hotel should offer a wider variety at breakfast and cater for a variety of diets. The room was cold on arrival. The room did not seem to be well soundproofed, so I could hear other guests talking in the lobby, corridors or rooms next door.
