This hotel exceeded our expectations. Everything was really great - the location, the room, the breakfast(the choice was not really wide, but it was fresh and tasty). Staff was really polite and helpful, they were really supportive with all stuff that I brought to them. I think that it's a perfect value for money, I'd like to return to this place one day.

At the first day in room #5 there was a strong smell of sewerage, probably because of high humidity. Guys from reception tried to fix it, but in a result they changed the room for us and presented us a bottle of wine as a compliment from the botel.

Very well presented 2* hotel. Clean throughout. Staff are very friendly and happy to help. We stayed on the top floor and the view was fantastic, on a clear day you can see Peña Palace. Breakfast was lovely, everything was fresh and a good variety for a cold continental breakfast. Would happily stay again if visiting Ericeira.

They have taken some creative freedom in the word “Suite” it’s a large double room with a one person lounge chair. It’s a 2* hotel so it’s reflected in the amenities but it would have been nice to have a fridge for access to cold water.

I would like to say a big, big thank you to the staff who did everything to make our little vacation as wonderful as possible! due to an error in the booking system, our room was booked while the hotel was over booked and we couldn't have known about it in advance, but with the help of the staff we still managed to stay and didn't have to immediately look for another place upon arrival. And huge respect for the design!

The view from the room was not what we expected in the beginning, but that's not a big deal, being in the city center with the ability to walk to the ocean whenever you want.

The location was great and the included breakfast buffet was fantastic! The staff were also super friendly.

The room was a bit smaller than we had anticipated and the bathroom walls are glass, which was nice for letting the light in but unfortunately, it also let the light out at night so when someone turns on the light it lit up the whole bedroom. Also, the cleaners didn't clean our room in the middle of our stay, despite us hanging the sign to clean our room... This might have just been a timing issue we weren't aware of though.

Breakfast was continental but was very acceptable. Location was very good.

We were too tall for the sloping ceilings in the bedroom - we would have been better with a bedroom on the third floor. There was no long mirror in our room only a small mirror in the bathroom- so we asked at reception if one could be fitted in our bedroom and the receptionist managed to get a long mirror put up in our room. Thank you.

Excellently located in the heart of Ericeira, steps to the beach and surrounded by cute shops and restaurants, this charming hotel really can't be beat for what you get for the money. Parking was close and free on the street (though there is an inexpensive lot just around the corner), so it was no hassle that the hotel doesn't have any itself. The staff is welcoming and kind, the breakfast was generous (with coffee/tea/cake/fruit set out all day), and the inexpensive upgrade to the balcony room was totally worth it. I couldn't be more pleased with this little gem.

There was nothing to complain about. They smashed it on all accounts.

The hotel had a lovely, airy, laid-back feel, and was perfectly situated in town - close to the beaches and all amenities. Friendly, helpful staff and nice touches like water, tea/coffee, fruit etc always available in the communal area. We were allowed to leave our bags at the front desk on the day of check out and also wait there for our taxi to the airport (they were very accommodating). We had a fabulous balcony with sea views, and despite being in the centre of town we found our room pretty quiet.

Our room was smaller than we had hoped for and there was nowhere really to store things/not much surface area. It would be helpful if the breakfast buffet was labelled for allergens etc - as vegans, it was hard to know what contained dairy, eggs, etc so we stuck to plain bread and fruit. It would have been nice to have some soya/plant-based yoghurt and spread - so we felt a bit disappointed by this.

Ericeira was absolutely fabulous, there were so many restaurants and cafes that you probably need to stay there 3 weeks to try them all. Food was amazing, beaches were lovely and not overcrowded, there were loads of different ones. We did not want to go home.

Bathroom floor could have been washed more often. When I arrived man was very welcoming at reception, but he then told me my room was on top floor 4 but lift only goes to 3rd floor so had to go up flight of stairs. Even though I was on my own he never offered to help with my case (21kg) up the staircase which I found very hard. But when I left a different man helped take the same case out to my cab. Also my Friends who were in different accommodation were given a map of the town with the best eating places which would have been nice to have. Also maybe a notice board with different things about the area.

The breakfast was surprisingly good, we did not expect such a great buffet with lots of fresh fruit! Really nice, healthy selection.

My bathroom was clearly used by a smoker previously as the smell was still very intense. Also I believe the bathroom door was built in the wrong way as I was able to lock the door from the outside but not from the inside :) Plugs by the bed would be great and somehow I wasnt able to start my AC but this might have been me... a simple page of instructions might be helpful.

It was our second time staying at the hotel. Water pressure for the shower was great, the staff is very helpful and friendly (special thanks to Gio for accommodating us with breakfast when we came a little late from a surfing lesson). The location is perfect and homemade cake in the afternoon as well as free coffee and tea are such nice gestures! Can’t wait to be back next year!
