Savoy Seychelles Resort & Spa

First of all, the staff. It always is the people that can make or break an experience, and the staff were delightful. You know who you are, Elna and Diana. :) The location is excellent, as you're steps away from Beau Vallon beach and there are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores around. This is definitely a plus, compared to other, more isolated resorts. The rooms was nice and spacious with a nice patio. The swimming pool is also well maintained and it was very enjoyable for the one day when it rained during our stay. Very confortable beds.

Maybe the furniture could benefit from an overhaul? It's starting to show its age here and there, I'm nitpicking now.

This is a great hotel! Perfectly located in the Beau Vallon beach area, right on the beach. The hotel pool and the beach were both in walking distance, so that's a huge plus. The room was big and comfy, clean, and had everything we needed - huge bath and shower, safe, big bed, etc. The staff are very very friendly and helpful, attended to everything we asked for. The breakfast was good. We had dinner in nearby restaurants, since the area has them, so we only took breakfast in the hotel. I will definitely recommend this hotel !

Only on one evening, we decided to have the dinner at the hotel. For 1100 SCR per person, we found it a bit disappointing. I would recommend to eat dinner at nearby restaurants instead for half the price (like the Indian restaurant 'mahek' which is just outside of the Savoy). but it really didn't ruin our stay, everything else was perfect and it's a really good hotel !!

Reception staff, particularly Mr. Ahmed supported and guided us well. He went above and beyond to fulfill our expectations. Chefs tried hard to accommodate our Vegetarian requirements.Check in & Check out was smooth. Bed was very much comfortable. Regularly and properly cleaned property and rooms.

There is nothing which we didn’t like, but there are few recommendations particularly for Savoy Management, 1) Some of the old furniture are there in the room and it needs replacement. 2) Beach adjacent to hotel is not private, even though they can depute some of staff to clean it on regular basis. It will change the complete ambiance in surrounding and I believe it will not be expensive for 5* hotel. 3) Vegan, Vegetarian food are mentioned on the website, but difficult to find it on restaurant. Management needs to work on it with chefs.

I with my wife and 9-years daughter stayed at Savoy Seychelles in Dec 2021 for 4 nights. The hotel premises are pretty good (some parts are outdated - as elevators, for example), but in general it’s OK. As far as I can see, all the rooms have good terraces with a nice view - we enjoyed ours a lot. The beach next to the hotel was also good. It’s not the nicest one on the island, but still - very clean, shady and cosy. There was enough room for all the guests on the beach. Sunbeds and beach towels might be better / newer. Breakfasts were fully OK, as well as the service in the restaurant. Despite some nuances, considering the price range, I’d recommend to stay in the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Savoy and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The standout feature of my stay was the incredibly helpful staff. Mr. Ahmad and Mr. Abdulfattah went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. Their warm and welcoming attitude made me feel right at home. From offering local recommendations to promptly addressing any requests, they truly made a difference in my stay. Not only was the staff exceptional, but the overall experience at Savoy was wonderful. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing a comfortable stay that exceeded my expectations. What's more, the hotel's fantastic location, just a stone's throw away from the beach, made my vacation even more enjoyable. The convenience of being close to the beach allowed me to easily enjoy the sun, sand, and sea. I can't thank Mr. Ahmad and Mr. Abdulfattah enough for their exceptional hospitality, and I highly recommend Savoy for a fantastic and welcoming stay, with the added bonus of being so close to the beach. It's the perfect destination for a relaxing.

Nothing

The hotel is really nice, perfectly located in a large garden next to the beach with a walking promenade with stands etc. The hotel has probably one of the largest if not the largest pool in Seychelles and it never felt crowded (we didnt use it that much - preferred the beach) but was very suitable for children. Hotel room was comfortable and large, we were upgraded from ocean-side room to junior suite, the staff were very welcoming and nice. Credit to the Russian girl working as a manager at the main restaurant - she was personable and very professional as were the others. The food in the main restaurant (buffet breakfast and dinner) was very good and tasty.

Just one thing: as we got the half board stay at the hotel at a very good deal I dont want to complain too much, but at the dinner which was included (again half board) except for the drinks which is a common thing in Seychelles and elsewhere but I and others would appreciate to have at least the water served for free as is common in the US for example ( a nice custom btw), because to charge just for a bottle of water 5 euros -frankly it felt strange ..I dont know. Note: At breakfast the drinks were included so you could have whatever you wanted - freshly squeezed juices, cofffe atc and you even could ask for a glass of sparkling wine which at breafast I emhasize was included in the half-board.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Savoy, and overall, it was an unforgettable experience. At first, I encountered a small issue at the breakfast, which slightly affected my initial impression of the hotel. Nevertheless, my perception changed dramatically when I decided to bring it to their attention. To my surprise, the moment I expressed my concerns, the staff went above and beyond to rectify the situation. I was fortunate to meet Mr. Abdelfattah, who took my feedback seriously and promptly acted on it. He personally spoke with the manager, Francesco, and the chef, Pryanta, to address the matter. Their commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction was outstanding. In addition, Mr. Abdelfattah was very helpful all the time, he was very responsive and gave his best service even when he was on vacation, he was the key person to my satisfaction during my stay.

The room is excellent, big, clean and the bed is very comfortable. Beau Vallon is not my style of beach (too much people and noisy), potentially a beach to stay with kids, not couple. For that reason the swimming pool attended us very well. It is a very nice area with great service for drinks and the pool restaurant is also nice. Another positive aspect, the manager was extremely kind in some late requests we had.

The disappointment is the food quality in the main restaurant. The buffet did not look tasty. I would consider to redecorate the main restaurant, it does not match with the rest of the hotel. We also tried a hamburguer in the beachfront restaurant and we did not like it.

The staff were so helpful especially Andrew who organised day trips for us and helped us so much over our stay. They also had good vegetarian options in one of their restaurants - gecko.

We paid for a pool view but couldn't see the pool from our room which was disappointing. We also had to wait until 2pm to check in when we arrived around 9am. They didn't seem to cater for travellers that arrive early at all.

Great location, courteous, great service, welcoming staff. Rich breakfast. Stunning resort !

We had a technical issue with our safe, and after the staff replace it- the new safe had also a problem. It felt like they were changing between broken safes and didn't gave us a real new safe that works properly. In addition, we used the help of the reception for booking a day trip to Praslin and La Digue, and some of the information we got wasn't as we expected during the trip itslef.
