St Andrews Hotel and Spa

beautifully place well, clean and big rooms with elegant decor style, nice breakfast with a friendly staff at the restaurants. rooms were super clean and comfort beds. Dinner and breakfast were nice and well prepared.

I didn't like that on our arrival the reception service was not great as a result, we were not informed about the service that the hotel offer, things like how and where to book for the spa treatment and also, we were not given even Wi-Fi password. because of that service I received I couldn't even query regards to the room upgrade as I have booked for room with a Lake view, and it was confirmed but we were not given that room upgrade.

Room sizes are really spacious, as is the bathroom. Very comfy bed and good breakfasts. Big bonus at the St Andrews has a generator for loadshedding which is great. This property is very secure and conveniently located. We do enjoy staying here and will certainly return again.

The room (209) we stayed in definitely needs a bit of maintenance. Broken towel rail, awful smell in toilet room - there was a terrible water stain on the ceiling which must be coming from room above, that must be the culprit. In room safe didn't work and tv channels didn't work properly either. Small things that could easily be rectified.

The hotel was great. The room was clean and spacious.

I didn't like having to wait for a robe and slippers in our room. And the fact that there was no soap. Only have one small bottle of body was which was not enough. We ordered room service, and there were ants all over the plates in the morning. I also did not enjoy the "cheesecake" I ordered from the restaurant. I was unable to eat it. The presentation was not the best. 2 pieces which did not even look like cheesecake and they looked like they were from 2 different cakes or tarts. And for the price I paid for it, I was VERY disappointed. I will never order it again.

The environment and rooms where clean, stuff was so friendly.The pool was clean

The were some items that where listed that I will find on the room but they were not there like 1.Kettle 2.Trash bin 3.Slippers 4.Bathrobe 5.Chocolate or Cookies 6.Fruits 7.Hairdryer 8.Private Bathroom The room was not exactly the one I choose or that was shown on the picture,the phone was not working so I had to walk to reception if I needed something.Wifi was not working in my room

Missed breakfast

The room allocated to me at 1st, old fashioned furniture, the heating of the floor which was due to electrical fault was scarry I couldn't sleep at all that night until I was moved to a beautiful morden room I don't know why I only got it when there was a problem. The 1st room has No phone I was expected to move in and out for ordering meals, calling reception with my phone for help including the heated floor. No drinking water in the room and not offered at reception.

I honestly enjoyed the room that was allocated for me and my partner. It was very spacious, very cool and a beautiful shower which made our experience and shower moments amazing.

I did not like the fact that the tv programming is so outdated, there’s no DSTV which has a variety of channels. No one finds interest in SABC channels when they at the hotel.

The rooms are beautiful. And big and spacious the pool is amazing. The staff helped with every request. Special thanks to beautiful Indian lady at the reception she made us feel so welcome and rely professional and was just over all an amazing person

The room 404 that I was in was hot. The ac didn't work to well but they had a backup fan and slept with the balcony door open helped alot

The place was absolutely amazing, had that wonderful ambience,tranquility and peace. The staff was very friendly, the facility was very user-friendly and safe.loved it definitely coming back soon.

•The pool was too deep so didn't really enjoy it much •TV had limited boring channels •Breakfast had Limited options too and certain items which were on the menu did not come with the food. Food had no condiments

Great value for money. Excellent facilities, staff, breakfast. Comfortable, large room with fantastic bathroom, and balcony. When we had a need e.g. extra tea bags / milk, it was fulfilled rapidly.

Some of the towels could have been larger :). The TV channels weren't great but we weren't there to watch TV.
