The staff were very helpful and friendly, and also their service. I also like the fact that it was quite we were able to rest.

There was no enough water ,it was cold and the bedding were not changed.

I had arrived after 6:30 PM apursuant a long 750 km drive with my rental car, and the receptitonist who checked me in was extremely helpful and accommodating, to make sure that I had access to the Internet, with my two mobile phones and my laptop computer. Since the WLAN router signal was very weak in the initially assigned room, I was offered to change to a Suite (#206), which was expected to be in closer proximity to the Hotel's guest router. Yet, I was still not able to get a workable Internet access for my three devices. The kind receptionist then went OUT OF HIS WAY, to check the signal strength throughout the second floor of the hotel with his own mobile phone, and we found out that room # 208---just across the hallway from the Suite # 206---was the perfect location. I was very glad to get that problem solved. The receptionist also scanned the TV channels accessible though the satellite dish of the hotel, and he directed my favorite international news channel (CNN) to the TV of my hotel room. I MUST EXPRESS MY MOST SINCERE GRATITUDE TO HOTEL STAFF MEMBERS---including the beautiful females working there---IN ALL SERVICE AREAS. They all have wonderful intentions to help There were very few guests staying at the hotel while I was there---also because of the Covid-19 restrictions---so that I was the only guest having breakfast at the ground floor restaurant which showed images of Kimberley when it was the world's diamond capital. But, after looking at the mostly gruesome images of the DeBeers mining operation--with mostly executives from England in charge of the slave-labor-type conditions under which the diamonds were extracted---I convinced myself to NEVER buy any of the blood diamonds that were emerging from the Big Hole and adjacent mine shafts.

If that would be my hotel, I would gradually refurbish it, to add the modern amenities that are demanded by modern hotel guests. Electrical outlets that are compatible with the plug norms for international guests, including USB outlets for charging mobile phones, laptop computers, etc, ought to be added. Plus the gated access to the parking space at the rear of the hotel could be provided to hotel guests through an electrical open-shut mechanism, controlled through a remote control. I have seen that in Knysna and Beaufort West, and it could be added at low costs.

Great staff and nice rooms. The hotel has a lot of history and the room was big and clean. The breakfast was good and served warm.

The hotel could need a small upgrade, like fixing the broken tiles in the bathroom.

I liked how accommodative the staff was, the breakfast.

There was cold water in our bath tub, the water color. But all in all it was good.

It was okay but I would have liked to see some mushrooms and some baked beans and maybe some jungle Oats.

The dirty coloured water, bed lamps were not working, bathroom towels looks old and searched for SABC One and not find it.

Great and friendly receptionist. Breakfast was amazing, and overall great place to stay when visiting in Kimberley
