Hudson House

Lovely room, but it was unexpected to have it opening directly outside near the car park. However it seemed reasonably well sound insulated. The staff kept it immaculately clean during my 4 night stay and were generally pleasant. Breakfast was very good too.

The breakfast area was cold, and the entrance to the hotel is easy to miss on arrival. Another sign on the little road into the hotel would help, e.g. to say that the entrance is behind you! You really need a car to stay at the hotel. Like most places in Pretoria, everyone goes around in their little car cages.

The place is very luxurious, spacious and supper clean. Even their fridge was well stocked with everything that is needed chocolates, ciders, snacks. Their manager very friendly. Their breakfast was also refreshing... I liked how they prepare their omelet. And also we needed to stay an extra day and the manager just booked that for us without a hustle. The place was refreshing with their aesthetic garden. I would give the place and the whole stay 20 out of 10...we will definitely call again if we come to Pretoria. Home away from home.

Aesthetic, intimate and staff service is top tier!

The breakfast menu could do with some improvements, especially the Hot Breakfast. Also, the menus should be a little more clear and wide in options. For instance, the “Egg Benedict” is not clear whether it comes standard with bacon. So was a little disappointing that we couldn’t have it because we don’t eat pork. Had the menu said, “Egg Benedict with your choice of meat” , then there wouldn’t be too much confusion.

The staff reached out to me to ensure they have our rooms ready for us as we would like them, which was much appreciated. We also enjoyed a lovely, well-prepared breakfast. The rooms and the bathroom were nice and spacious, and we enjoyed the luxuriousness of it.

The house is quite close to a big and busy road, and the motorcycles speeding up and down woke me up a few times during the night. Not that the guesthouse could do anything about it.

Very modern clean room and bathroom. Staff was very friendly, The place is very well looked after. Large Parking area, Well Designed.

Entrance was a little hard to find and when leaving you can only drive left so its a bit of a hassle to get a place to make a U turn to get back on the hi way especially when driving a larger vehicle.

Once again, everything was more than perfect! The warm welcome by the Staff, the lovely and very comfortable accommodation, as well as the amazing breakfast, ensured we were ready to face the work day. Thank you to each and every member of Hudson House for another wonderful stay! We look forward to our next visit.

Friendly staff and very accommodating. Comfortable rooms with a comfortable bed. Exceptionally clean and neat.

Shower water pressure in the room could've been better, but was still perfectly usable. WiFi in the room was not as good as expected.

Nice place and well located. Good facilities. Excellent staff.

The blanket provided (which was needed due to the cold night and intermittent heating due to load shedding) was 'well used' and I had to request a clean one ... it should have been checked before my arrival. Otherwise, great place.

Thank you for my wonderful stay at your Hotel, I am very impressed. I took the Gautrain from the airport and then the bus which stops right across the road, which was very convenient, but Uber also worked very well for other trips. The staff are very helpful and kind and try to meet your every need. The bed was very comfy, I will recommend this Hotel to anybody that wants a quality stay.

Comfortable rooms with good sized bathroom. Amenities provided. A stocked fridge that one could purchase from. the breakfast options are great. I had the mine on toast with a fried egg on top. well presented and tasty. Many friendly staff. My second stay.

Backup generator power for everything except the aircon unfortunately but understandable.
