G Guesthouse Itaewon In Seoul

Feeling like home. I actually extended my permanece in this guest house. I met a lot of good people all around the world and also koreans. This guesthouse is close to the subway station and the bus station. So is easy to get around (Seoul is good for transportations). All the stuff here are nice. Good and easy breakfast in the morning. Every beds have is locker and enought space for your stuff! Can't explain how beautiful is the view from the rooftop. Thanks guys for make my stay more happier!

A bit noise in the weekend but you know, you are in Itaewon!

The breakfast is simple and to me it is good enough because there's bread, jam, butter, cereal, milk, fruit juice, coffee, tea. Location is really great because it is near to Itaewon train station. There are so many restaurants near the hotel and there is a prayer room for Muslims provided by G Guesthouse. But the guesthouse is near to Seoul Central Mosque. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable.

The guesthouse is not for someone who does not like to climb up stairs....hehehe But not a big deal to me..... There's nothing I don't like about this place. Everything is great!

The location is very good, as it is in the middle of the Itaewon neighborhood, just a few meters from the metro station of the same name, so it is very easy to find. It is possible to leave the airport and change metro lines and arrive at the hostel. In the surrounding streets there is a wide variety of international cuisine restaurants. as well as clubs and bars. Breakfast starts at 8:00 am. The difference is that it has a rooftop with a good view of the city and is very spacious.

There are several stairs and no elevator. But it is not a big problem.

It's a 3-minute walk from Itaewon station, and there's plenty of things to do in the area. The staff's verynfriendly and helped us out with our luggage (lots of steep stairs). The room was clean and comfortable, more importantly: the beds were amazing! There's a laundry room and you can get clean towels at the reception; they also clean your room if you want to.

It was a bit noisy, but I think that's because there was a large group of students that went partying every night. Nothing big, just the city life.

Everybody was quite sympathetic since everyone is in Seoul for eather their first or their last couple of days. At breakfast you could get some interesting insight on how the trips from people were who were leaving South Korea by then and find yourself some company for your day. And after the day there were always folks to go out with. There is no real social space opened 24/7 but meeting people and going out still worked out just fine.

In being a hostel, the place does not offer any space just for yourself, which was intimidating at first. But I got used to it and maybe that was necessary to get into a more social head-space.

Great location near the metro, lots of bars, restaurants and cafes around. Breakfast is simple but good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Small common room but it has a good social atmosphere and it's easy to meet people.

Not super clean- the facilities are looking really run down and the building probably needs some maintenance. Major thing to be aware of is the top bunks in the dorms don't have curtains while the bottom bunks do, so if you want some extra privacy you better hope you get given a bottom bunk.

Loved the location in Itaewon, so close to multiple cafes, clubs and Metro. Great staff, super helpful. Put in a request for a lower bunk and this was provided and had a curtain. Breakfast was basic with toast and cereal but great and coffee was really great! Aircon was very good and quiet. Liked that there was a microwave and fridge in the room. There is a really nice social vibe to the place, met quite a few lovely travellers from here so would recommend. Rooftop is also nice for drinks at the end of the day!

Didn't like the plastic sheet with velcro that the bed was lined with, often made the sheets come undone during the night. Staff volunteers often came in quite noisily to the room to change the beds regardless if any travellers were asleep or not. Bathroom floods really easily (Room 14) and lack of ventilation left the room feeling quite damp. Lockers were either very large or not very big depending on what bed your given.

I had a great time at the Guesthouse. The personal was really nice, the area is filled with bars and supermarkets and the metro station Iteawon is 3 minutes again walking. It is located at a very central point and you can get fast to the main touristic attractions. I met great people there and the stairs/rooftop are good places to chill and easily get to know new people! I really enjoyed my time there and I recommend it :)

Breakfast included with toast, jam, juices, coffee, tea, milk. Staff was super nice and helpful. Fridge and microwave in the room and also in the common area/reception, which has a small kitchen area, microwave, and fridge too. Common room can get quite full because it's not very huge. But that's a good opportunity to get in contact with other people! Room size was good, there's enough space for 6 people plus luggage. Just a few minutes walk from Itaewon metro station.

Beds were ok, not the most comfortable I had during my travels. Some matresses make some noise when turning over. Curtains only close on the long side of the bed. There's no curtain at the end and at your head. Shower and toilet is in one room, which gets completely wet when showering. There is only one toilet/shower for 6 people in the room, but I never had to wait, and there are more on the third floor.
