GF GRAN COSTA ADEJE*****

Large bedroom, with mini-fridge and good-sized wardrobes. Large bathroom with separate toilet. Excellent hot water pressure in the bath/shower. Tea/coffee making facility in bedroom. Black-out curtains. Nice balcony. Excellent choice of foods etc at breakfast. Very clean and well maintained in all areas. Lovely pools and surrounding area. Very pleasant and very helpful staff. Excellent amenities.

The bedrooms and bathrooms look old-fashioned as too much natural wood colour eg doorframes, wardrobe doors, dressing table, bedside cabinets, picture frames, bathroom mirror surround. Not enough drawer space in the bedroom. Electrical socket on only one side of the bed. Didn't like having to step into and out of a bath to shower (the bath was slippery and I almost fell twice) - a walk-in shower is a must nowadays. No fan in the bathroom, so the huge mirror completely steamed up when showering. Fan in toilet didn't work.

During my stay one of the main pool was closed off and work started on braking down the inner concrete wall of the pool with air tools, this went on for approx. two days !!! When you are booking a 5 star vacation you don´t expect the garden to turn into a LOUD construction site !. NO attempt was made on behalf of the hotel to compensate for this disturbance; price cut for the room, free drinks, ......

Lush greenery, big rooms, big bed. We asked for a quiet room with the ocean view. At first, we were offered a room on the 1 floor. To to be honest, unfortunately, it wasn’t quiet, because our room was exactly beneath breakfast hall, also you could hear the noise from evening program. Also, the view wasn’t something we expected. We were lucky, because we were offered a new room, on the upper floor, with a splendid ocean view and no noise. We were very happy and pleased and thankful for the reception team. Breakfast has a lot of variety— different fruits, smoothies, salads, eggs, cheeses… etc Grill Restaurant in the hotel is also very good with super attentive staff. Super hotel in Adeje, quiet neighborhood, close to the ocean and shops.

Somebody should inspect the lighting in the dinner area (at the hotel general breakfast-dinner restaurant, it is awfully bright, we thought we should wear sunglasses… :)

Everything else except for the 2 things that I mentioned I didn't. What is exceptional - > the vegetation, inside the hallways and at the pool, also the rooftop pool which is adults only 🙏

The coffee is not a 5 star hotel coffee. You get instant coffee at breakfast 100%. If you want to order a coffee from the pool bar, they might get you an instant one, still, maybe because they don't understand what the normal coffee is.. And it is a bit far from the beach. Actually, 10 mins walk, but it's on a hill so when you return.. It's harsh, mostly with the sun and heat..

Breakfast: food is not of great quality I had yo ask for another mattress since after few days I had back pain. But with the new one I slept very well. Very expensive

Location is great, close to other 5 * Hotels. They have shows every evening, staff from bar is very receptive and fast.

Hotel is a 3*+. Everything dated, furniture and doors, etc. Needs repairs. The Reception staff is the one that doesn't qualify for GF Victoria, they don't understand or care pretty much. We have received some very noisy rooms ( you can hear everything from upper levels or lifts banging on walls ). If you want a proper 5*, go to GF Victoria or Iberostar.

The fact the hallways to the rooms were under an open roof was good. The indoor plants and trees also have a very nice atmosphere. Outdoor plants were also nice and the outdoor area in general as well. The cold pool was also something I really liked.

Not quite sure. Perhaps the gym could have had better equipment, such as a squat rack and a better bench for bench pressing. Also I don’t think I was able to see how heavy the dumbbells were, which was a minus. Also, me and my partner agreed that it would have been nice to have duvets for the beds instead of just blankets.

Well organised but maybe due to the size not so cozy and many tourist groups

We like the space of the facilities, and the kindness of the staff attending. The swimming pool terrace especially. Also the prices for food were not excessive like it is sometimes the case in high rated hotels.

There is one black spot. We spent the last day at the swimming pool terrace. We saw there had been a yogurt spilling incident on the place we had selected, from the person sitting there the day before probably. There was yogurt on the small side table and below the chaise longue. We moved the small side table away, move the chaise over the spilling on the floor not to step on it. I asked the pool bar waitress if someone could come cleaning or if we could at least get some tools to clean ourselves. She said she will inform the reception. Nobody came. I asked again at lunch time. When moved to another place, nobody came to clean that yogurt.. It surprised us a lot that such miss could happen in such hotel, the rest of the hotel seemed very clean, our room was spotless.

Great location, great facilities, great service from the staff and really good value for money when it came to the room itself, the activities available and the breakfast.
