Prinsotel La Caleta

Big variety of food and decent quality (not superb though). Very good location in nice bay. Nice pool bar. Lots of beds and seats on the grass between buildings to relax and talk.

We had apartment facing the street. Fortunately, it was outside season, so traffic was very low, but during season it would annoy a lot, since windows are only single layered (!). Furniture was rather "tired", but still functioning. This can't be said about ventilation/air conditioning, as the there was water dropping from the vents all the time!

The location between two beaches was perfect. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the pools were nice. Breakfast could have been better in my opinion less sweets and cakes and more savoury options.

I really enjoyed my stay here other than more options for breakfast I was happy.

Good self service buffet. Clean pools. Could arrange late check-out. Good WiFi. Had fun dancing in mini disco with Maxi.

Still renovations going on, noise related to renovations, TV channels not working.

Excellent experience. I cannot recommend this place enough. The facilities are well maintained, all the services work as they should. The reception is contactable by phone or WhatsApp message 24/24 and answers promptly. All the staff is very nice, from the reception to the cleaning personnel, the waitresses, everyone. The buffet is very good offering a varied choice for all tastes and food regimes. A buffet can always be a bit messy but they manage to get it tidy and clean. The other food offers in the complex are affordable and of very good quality. The kids club also works well and the gym is spacious and equipped with good quality gear. The whole place is pleasant with a simple but charming architecture with a very nice outdoor space. We took the suite and everything seemed new and worked perfectly. The air conditioner was effective and fairly silent. An excellent stay.

The card to open the door cannot touch the sensor, otherwise it won’t open.

So much I liked: the hotel was beautiful, the room was comfortable and modern, shower with good pressure and temperature, the free shower products were of great quality and in big bottles, not those tiny ones, comfiest bed, helpful staff, good breakfast, the neighbourhood Sa Caleta is beautiful, with some options for restaurants and a hike to the tower, Cala Santandria looks scenic from above, I enjoyed the view which can be seen a little from the breakfast restaurant or up close from the independent restaurant Sa Nacra (but kind of smells bad if you actually go down). The hotel offers bikes for rent which is quite cool, and a car rental is just next door, we used both and would recommend. A little supermarket is conveniently located opposite the main entrance. The hotel is not too far from Ciutadella, you can either catch a bus, rent a bike or get a taxi to there. I also loved the flowers at the hotel, the smell of jasmine was divine! The hotel clearly looks after their garden very well and takes pride in it. The pool looked clean but the weather was not good enough for us to use it unfortunately.

The Wi-Fi was a real problem, something needs to be done about it seriously. We stayed for 5-6 days and we didn’t have internet 80% of the time we were trying to connect. I had to share my mobile phone data for my boyfriend to work and for us to watch a movie on a rainy day. Also, the shower needs a deep cleaning. They need to really scrub it to remove the dirt, not just rinse away hairs etc. Otherwise the hotel was clean and smelled very nice. There was no kettle and cups in the room, I do not think this is a lot to ask for. Finally, the breakfast was a bit expensive at 19€, does it really have to be this much?

Location is great. Quiet area in the evening. The beach is 2 minutes from the hotel. The sea is lovely to swim in. Hotel is very relaxing. The pool area and pool itself is really nice and relaxing. Staff are warm and friendly. Would recommend breakfast included, great selection and really nice food. We would definitely book again. Scubas diving centre 2 minutes away.

We had a baby with a buggy and our lift didn't stop on our floor. We had to carry the buggy down or get the lift from another floor up to ours in order to use the lift. Not the end of the world, Otherwise couldn't fault the hotel or staff. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel was really well maintained, a fabulous breakfast buffet and staff very helpful. It offers very good value for money and the location is excellent.

We had a 2 bedroom suite with terrace in building 5 and the privacy between the terraces wasn't great. The bathrooms need more hooks and rails for hanging up towels and swimsuits and a drying rack for the terrace would also have been useful. The restaurants were understaffed and as a result the service suffered a bit. My other suggestion would be to have one of the buildings as adult only for a quieter experience. Whilst the grounds were very well maintained this did mean that there was pretty much constant noise - jetwashing the pool area and getting sprayed and constant mowing of the grass. The place looks great but it did get a bit annoying!

Amazing stay, gorgeous hotel, so clean, brilliant staff and perfect location, right next to the beach. 2 pools, one for kids and one for adults, the food is great but you have to book for all restaurants (in the hotel, Sa Caleta and Ciutadella) in advance which we didn’t know, otherwise you get caught out and have to eat at the hotel every night.

The advance booking for restaurants, but that was only the Grill at the hotel. The hotel restaurant doesn’t open until 1900 for dinner so you have to eat a big breakfast or lunch! The breakfast service is a bit chaotic, could benefit from a better system. They said only Club members in the terrace but that wasn’t the case in practice. Other than that, beautiful stay!

Location is very good close enough to Ciutadella (20min walk). Very close to a nice beach Good Facilities. Good Food(when it’s available). All the staff is very nice

In 7 days I was woken up 7 times by the cleaning staff with the incomprehensible noise made at 8 in the morning or earlier. If you want to sleep till a bit later it’s not going to happen. If you want to eat between 15.30 and 19.00 there will be almost nothing besides some (very)lousy cold sandwiches, it doesn’t make sense that a hotel of this quality doesn’t have an open kitchen at least during the whole day for at least a few bar snacks.

A really lovely hotel. Great food, great pools, friendly and attentive staff, great location if you're looking for a quiet break and only half hour walk / 10 minute bus into Ciutadella. We'd rate the breakfast 10/10.

This is just a personal preference but I felt that it could have done with a bit more atmosphere and activity in the evening. There was an act that performed at 9.30 in the evening which for those of us with small babies, couldn't hold out until that late. It would have been great to have had something going on for those that had earlier schedules.
