Hotel Casa Prendes

This is by far the cleanest most well-taken care of hotel, I've ever stayed in. The furniture and design are dated, but absolutely immaculatly maintained. Reception was curtious, although not totally comfortable speaking English, so knowing some Spainish will improve your stay, but still very kind and helpful. Except for the seagulls, it was so quiet at night, even with the window open, which was suprising because the hotel is in the center, steps from restaurants and shopping.

The bed was not especially comfortable. Maybe a fan if not A/C. It's ok with the window open, you get a nice sea breeze, but as I said the seagulls are really loud, so not everyone will be able to sleep through that.

This is a really nice little hotel, great location near the marina in Cudillero. Lots of food choices nearby, although a bit limited for vegetarians. My hosts were very accommodating, helping me get a taxi to see the Cabo Vidio. I was also having trouble with charging my phone and the host went out of his way to try about 5 different chargers for me. The woman who checked me in spoke English but I think she may have been the only one. The room is spacious and comfortable, good heating, nice traditional decoration. Cudillero is an interesting old town to wander around with so many dwellings built into the cliff side.

The shower had a lot of gadgets/knobs. Probably great if you know how to use them, but I find complicated showers a bit intimidating. Anyway, the hot water was fine and I had no problem.

Spotlessly clean hotel right in the centre of the village. Traditional and very pleasant environment. We booked a superior room which was quite large and very comfortable. Owner was very helpful and directed us where to park to drop off luggage before parking at the harbour. Lots of places to have a drink or food nearby, we went for an economy option of pizzas which were great.

Breakfast is cheap but very basic. As there is no aircon if you need to sleep with the window open it is quite noisy with people passing by, some cars going up the hill and especially (and all night) loud seagulls.

Lovely small hotel. Recently renovated - beautiful woodwork. Clean/tidy room. Excellent location - next to the main square, close to restaurants and seaside. Clean and nice bathroom. We didn't try the breakfast as we were told there are no gluten free options. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby though - some offer menus with allergens marked.

- No air conditioning. With the trend for rising summer temperatures and heat waves in the region - they might have to invest in the aircon in the future to make it more comfortable. Open windows help, but then we had neighbours who smoked nearby on the street/balcony - unpleasant smoke smell gets into the room. - No gluten free options for breakfast

Casa Prendes benefits from a „downtown“ location in Cudillero, meaning no steep walk, no stairs, to reach your hotel. The room was small but clean, the beds comfortable. Breakfast is „à la carte“, means you order only what you want to eat and pay a very reasonable price. The staff is very friendly and caring, we could have the room before noon.

Nothing. We simply enjoyed the stay, because the other guests, like us, tried not to be noisy. If you happen to meet more noisy people, you might hear them.

Beautiful old hotel just one street back from the heart of this remarkable hillside village. Terrific short walks up the hills in and around the village. very friendly and helpful front Senhora. Lovely room with couch overlooking the narrow streets of the village. Good comfortable bed.

Breakfast was OK, not stellar. Bread was a roll, tomatoes from a small container, coffee from a pod and very weak and unappealing. I’d those minor things were fixed, it would be a 10.

I Loved everything about this place, comfortable rooms, the reception lady was amazing and super friendly, location is just fantastic, the hotel is small but beautiful and has everything you need, just 5 min away walking you have a huge parking lot if you are driving. My family and I had the best experience ever. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Excellent hotel room right in the middle of town. Clean, friendly staff, nice towels and linens. Excellent evening!

Parking is difficult. Fortunately we were able to find a spot at the public parking down by the marina. Look for white lines, if you park in green lines you get a ticket. (Thank you to the local man that helped me so we didn't get a ticket!!!)

Beautiful room. Fantastic location. The manager was very nice and happy to do whatever he could to accommodate our requests . We were able to leave our things, check in early, have a beer. His suggestion for lunch was amazing and some of the best octopus and chiparones I have ever had. Really great experience. Warm lovely room.

The shower was difficult and never got hot enough but it was ok.

Family run hotel. Charming room, bang in the centre of the little (ex) fishing village. Breakfast not included but it's too small to do a buffet. Instead they ran a little breakfast cafe downstairs selling individual (delicious) items.

The seagulls were a bit loud at dawn but we were in a fishing village.
