Abba San Sebastián Hotel

Modern and ultra clean inside, good to have a kettle. Lots of choices for breakfast and staff were quick to replenish items. The staff were helpful with cases and kindly explained the location of bus services to me, although we still had to get further directions from the info counter near the bridge. The location of the hotel is super convenient and so pretty, overlooking the river and trees. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful.

Just a thing to know, shower is really slippery and bathroom door heavy to open. This was just a personal issue for me. Everything else was excellent.

we did not eat breakfast at the hotel, amazing breakfasts within 5 mins walk for 5 euro at a cafe called Nam Gros.

roof terrace poor, room small, room facing road was noisy, but not if you closed the balcony door, good air con.

The location and setting gave us premium access to everywhere in the city. The Terrace upstairs is a wonderful place to view the city and enjoy a sundowner after a day out, The hotel is hi-tech which gave us a few laughs, being a bit techno-challenged. All the staff were super friendly and went out of their way to assist us. The room service meal we ordered was exceptional. Thank you for a truly wonderful up-market experience.

Everything was excellent. Although, for 2 nights we did have noisy guests next door to our room, who kept us awake well into the morning.

I had a terrible weather and lovely stay. How is it possible? Kudoz goes 50/50 to San Sebastian itself and to Abba Hotel. The staff in all areas is very nice, helpful, natural and not exaggerated - they simply made me feel good. That's not so common in the hotels. The room was spacious and very clean. Kettle and safe of a laptop size are always useful for me. Location is absolutely faboulous - walking distance everywhere (or maybe except for Igeldo on a lazy day...). Price/quality ratio is also very good, in particular as for overpriced San Sebastian. I do not repeat holiday destinations and only for this reason I will not come back, but I will recommend this place to anyone who plans to visit the city.

Room on the first floor actually felt like on the ground floor due to construction of the building. Behind the window there was already a pavement with people walking. It was manageable with hangings but simply unexpected.

The reception staff were very friendly, polite and courteous. They exhibited a high degree of professionalism The bar staff were also excellent. Hotel was quiet and in an excellent location with a nice atmosphere

The gym was okay but there was no towels, no cleaning equipment or drinking water…this was very unusual and disappointing. The dining area was pleasant but the breakfast buffet lacked choice and I was surprised to be asked to sign for the breakfast bill as I was about to commence eating my breakfast…this was unprofessional

Nice stay in a clean comfortable room with all necessary amenities. Pleasant location within walking distance of practically everything you would want to see.

There was plenty of choices hot & cold for breakfast - very good buffet in fact, but the heat lamps definitely do not keep the food even warm - may need new bulbs or something. Prior to booking I checked for hotel parking which I thought was on site or adjacent, and free of charge. On arrival it had obviously not been very clearly explained - good 6 or 7 minute walk to actually get to your car in an underground car park which, whilst discounted by the hotel still cost over 50 Euro's for a 3 night stay... These two points are only made from my perspective as a business owner - if nobody tells you where you may be falling short then minor dislikes could continue unsorted.

The hotel was Very clean, beds and. Pillows were amazing, had the best night sleep here. location is great as well you can walk to anything from the hotel. Even the coach station is a 4 min walk to f travelling by in from Bilbao.

Rooms are small just something to be mindful of . For couples it’s not an issue but if sharing with a friend for more that 3 nights it could start to grate you. The breakfast area was tiny makes ig difficult to move from food to drinks area without bumping into people and food selection was l limited

It’s perfectly located (Gros) to see all of San Sebastián but far enough away from the madness of the “Old Town”. The Gros area was a big surprise, full of great restaurants, bars and boutiques. The Hotel it’s self is beautifully designed inside and the rooms are just perfect. Continental breakfast was nice and we enjoyed sunset on the roof top bar. The staff were charming and could not do enough for you. We would highly recommend Abba and Gros when staying in San Sebastián. Thank you 🙏

Breakfast was great both in food quality, choices and very accommodating to every taste. Amazing location close to old town, short walk to the beach and shopping, restaurants etc. Hotel is located in restyled XIX century mansion, beautiful building with thick walls, cosy courtyard, shielded by trees, lining up beautiful promenade. Room was with the balcony (a big plus), interior was modern, beds comfy, very quiet at night. Staff was very friendly! Muchos gracias to Itxosa, - the Manager (wonderful personality), as well as Juanjo, Lide, Elizabeth, Martha, Mikel! You made our stay easy and pleasant! San Sebastián is a true gem! La Perla beach was ideal for us. Would love to be back one day!

That we couldn’t stay longer 🥲 and that Real Sociedad lost to Barcelona, when we went to see the match ⚽️

The breakfasts were excellent, and the staff ensured that all food was available at all times. The hotel is in an excellent location as it is within walking distance of the centre and local amenities. The staff are very friendly and approachable and are very willing to help and assist. The rooftop terrace is also well worth visiting to relax.

The doors to the rooms close very loudly so this disturbs sleep if other guests return/check into rooms during the night.
