NH Gijón

All the staff were polite and very helpful, the breakfast options were extensive, staff attentive and proactive, I had an omelette cooked to order both mornings, would highly recommend. The room was clean, the ensuite and shower was top draw, very powerful which I like.

There was no coffee making facilities in the room, which is not the end of the world, but I have come to expect that when staying away in hotels. Room service and restaurant do not open until 8.30, which could be a challenge with young children, however, I think this is fairly standard for the area.

central location, you come out of the hotel, you reach the center with a wonderful coastal walking path, there are dozens of cafes, bars, patisseries and restaurants on the way, one of them is named sidreria asturias.hotel side street has dozens of free parking opportunities. If there is no place, there is an open area opposite the hotel where you can park your car for 3 euro all day. The hotel smells like clean, it breathes. There is a bar and swimming pool at the top. The food is delicious. Even though it's full of time, if you can find a place, it's a super hotel where you get what you pay for.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Bedroom was huge, comfy and clean. Bathroom/shower was great too. Staff at the reception desk were very helpful and they recommended a restaurant in the old harbour in which we had a great dinner. Very close to the beach and the city centre, and just a walk away from the old town (around 30 mins). Easy and free parking on the street nearby.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as it was too expensive.

Location right on Camino del Norte. Convenient for beach, city, retaurants, bike trails, parks and more. Warm greeting from everyone we met at reception. Everything we needed. Gijon has a great City vibe. Hotel was really comfortable, modern with wonderful decor. Amazingly quiet too! That was a huge bonus. Thank you and for looking after our bikes too.

Everything was great apart from the lady at breakfast. She must have been having a bad day. Sorry but that was the only negative part of our stay.

Location next to beach. Good parking. Good restaurant. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds.

1.No kettle/tea/coffee in room. 2.Could not find any info in room about hotel facilities. Also checked on room TV without success. 3. We like Spain and Spanish people but would have appreciated an English speaking channel on the TV.

Nice, clean place , near the beach with great relaxing swimming pool on the roof and bar with alcoholand non alcohol cocktails . staff lovely , helpful and could easily communicate in english. Worth it to stay definitely with breakfast.

View from room ...but it was last minute booking

Great location, rooms well designed and very clean. The staff service was excellent. The hotel has a very nice rooftop pool and bar. One of the few hotels in the area with Parking place that is always guaranteed.

We had a small problem with the shower temperature that addressed at the moment by people on the hotel room, not 100% solved but allowed us to use it.

pretty well everything. The atmosphere is welcoming and professional and first impressions are that the place is well run modern and comfortable.

very fixed times for food, no room service and not flexible on times so dinner is after 8 pm regardless.

Very professional and kind front desk staff; wonderful breakfast spread, spacious room, comfortable beds, reasonable pricing. We are becoming NH Collection fans.

The location is a bit away from the old town but not really a problem for the walkers like us.

Brilliant location beside beach and park. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Good breakfasts and room clean and towels changed every day. Nice pool on roof top.
